On March 2, 2000, Toni shed this mortal coil in a most saddening and unfortunate car accident, where he was the victim and not the culprit.
I did not know Toni very well, but he was on a mailing list of mine, as was his sweet-hearted girlfriend Alinna. Alinna i have had to the pleasure of talking to, and both of them were the nicest people i have ever met. I know that Toni wrote Savage Garden fanfic of an excellently carnal sort, and that he was always cheerful and a darling. He was much beloved whereever he went. His emails always added a bit of sunshine to your day, and he was ever so amusing.
As part of my tribute, here i have included the lyrics to a song that will always remind me of Toni, as well as the song "You Can Still Be Free" which is now his anthem. This song is called "Into The Deep" by Kula Shaker. Enjoy and may the Goddess watch over any troubled hearts.
