The Single Guy

I’m single therefore 
I am ugly
I’m single therefore
I am shy

Just give in, don’t try
to shake romantic fate
If I want to be asked
I’ll be left alone
If I approach another
I’ll be shown

the door - REJECTION
Is everyone as hopeless?
Is loneliness my real specialty?
Am I looking to get a  PhD?

I feel, so sick,
so convinced of my pathetic nature
I remain confused
I remain alone
