for all tastes and budgets; supermarket, laundrette, bakery, and many
other speciality stores in downtown Simon's Town.
Because of its proximity to Cape Point, the Jackass Penguin colony, and the
Simon's Town harbour, Windy Ridge provides an ideal base for birders
wishing to spot endemics, migrants, and seabirds of the South Western Cape.
Through our own knowledge of birding in the South Western Cape, and through
a network of birding associates, we will assist guests in planning their
own self-drive birding excursions to ensure successful bird viewing of
endemics, migrants, and seabirds; we also put together customised guided
excursions led by the host or another birding guide from our wide network
of local birders, to satisfy the clients' birding requirements. We
will arrange pelagic trips, starting out from the Simon's Town Harbour.
