Captain Planet, Earth's greatest champion, is all five of the Planeteers' powers, magnified. He can control all the elements Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, and can communicate telepathically with the power of Heart. He can also become any of the elements at any time. If Captain Planet comes into contact with a polluting or toxic substance, he becomes weakened and must return to the Earth to recharge. After the Planeteers summon Captain Planet, they can't use their rings until he returns to the Earth when the job is finished or if he needs to recharge.
