In order to help support the government's policy of the promotion of primary education to
all regions of the Kingdom, His Majesty the King often grants funds from the Privy Purse for the
construction of schools in remote areas. One such school, Chao Pho Luang Upatham School
(โรงเรียนเจ้าพ่อหลวงอุปถัมภ์), was built with the help of
Border Patrol Police for the Hill-Tribes children.
