Exploring the impacts of various terminal electron accepting processes on PCE degradation in a mixed anaerobic culture. A hydrogen sensor is used for determination of the amount of hydrogen utilized with the different terminal electron acceptors, and an oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) probe to measure redox potential and correlate the various values to hydrogen consumption.

Water quality, phosphorous budgets, watershed delineation. Worked on City of Minnewaukan's levee design for Devil's Lake. Experience with Arc/view and Surfer programs.
City of Plymouth: June - September 1997
Engineering Internship.
Erosion control; working with protecting wetlands and ponds from construction sites. Prepared a wetland and water quality guideline, worked with the citizens of Plymouth in keeping their ponds clean. Became familiar with road construction and maintenance.
