-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10:14p - Boxers, and papas got new shoes Sitting here in my scooby doo boxers (no, you are NOT getting away with stealing these...i am checking my baggage before I leave!) and a brand new spankin pair of timberlands shoes ("casual dress") I haven't gotten around to throwing my robe on robe and i need to break the new shoes in (although i think that requires actually walkin in them and not just sitting here? whatever). I got sick of wearing running shoes off duty. Now of course, I probably have enough pairs of shoes to qualify as a woman in that department. I had to get new jeans too...i've garnished a bit of a belly in the last several months (completely disregarding what i put in my body and not doing enough PT does that to an old man like me) and my old levis are a bit tight. And since in a couple of weeks I'll actually be WEARING jeans it seems (for the first time in AGES!)... something's changed. I used to be the biggest tightwad when it came to clothing. For gods sake I almost bought a leather jacket tonight. I decided to wait until I'm in the CONUS and buy a jacket there if i decide i actually need one... ho hum Night two of a four day weekend. Been quite the active bee lately...with D's return I have an "excuse" to go out and about again...something that's great for my social life but bad for my wallet. His return has got me spending money again too...anyway. I want to start packing already. current mood: calm
