The show kicked ass--I am more than glad I went. Ended up getting a feed from the soundboard afterall, good thing too cuz my primary mics have crapped out again and I was gonna have to use my slightly inferior backups. Tape sounds so *bad ass*. Ah, bliss, come to me now!

It dawned on me today that I am much like my father when he tried quitting his niccoteine habit...a failure. I've been saving butts bummed from Greg and rerolling them...*gack* butt ashes, yuck..that description alone is good enoug to convey the disgust...I bought a pack at the store today...*sigh* that's life for you. I am a weak willed nit wit just like every other smoker...

Got a msg on the answering machine about my office asst. prospects. Guy wouldn't say either way, i have to call him back...which means I got the job and he wanted to tell me a bit more over the phone, or, the more likely case, i didn't and he felt to obligated to leave such a junky msg on a machine...*or* it could even mean i didn't get the job but they have somethign else for me instead--that woudl be kinda cool. I'll call tommorrow and see. I wanted to hold off on an entry until I knew about both jobs...but I needed to spout joy over the show...I actually met other local DATters! I didn't know any existed. Galatic is playing tuesday for $4 and I think I'll go to that one too...maybe another board patch. They apparently were voted top new jazz artist down at some New Orleans deal...should be pretty kick ass stuff then.

Aced my first physics quiz on Monday...talked to the prof and he's gonna let me skip all the labs I've did the 1st time through--very cool, I only need to show up 3 times for lab! (new experiments + the old one I was allowed to miss) Great and wonderful professor.

That's it--I don't really have anything profound, just wanted to spew.
