Heh...last night i was the official "recordin engineer" for the _Dave Hinz Band_. How'd it go? Great! Set up my stand right in front, sat there checking levels, making an adjustment here and there as neccessary. It wasn't their best perfromance, or so they said, but it had my toe tapping...definately not a waste of time or tape. All the members of the band are really cool...very happy I was there...asking all sorts of q's about my deck...made me feel special...the tape came out quite marvelous too. worked out well in several ways--hopefully I can do the same thing tuesday at the _Galatic_ show

Physics is so much easier this time around--having been through Thermodynamics, I know everything about the current topic of study, both from Thermo and the last time I took physics. I have Monitoring hmwk to do still...fun...it's actually interesting though, so that's cool.

I just tidied my room, and already it's a mess again--go figure...I think I would be a nearly impossible person to live with in a relationship. I am supposed to clean the apt today--my week to do kitchen/living room...but Liz has been spending the weekend babysittin her boyfriends place--probably has "plants" he need someone to look after...she hasn't cleaned the bathroom yet, so I'll be damned if I'm gonna clean the apt...lately she's been less tidy than she usually is

Sarah's journal went down when geocitties crashed...heh, maybe my archive site did too, who knows. everything is backed up, so no worries. Anyway, I was bummed her site went down cuz it meant she didn't write an entry with all the coding she had to redo (?)

I heard they are tearing down the Cal Expo Ampitheatre in Sacramento. That sucks hard core--it was my favorite outdoor venue in all of california. *sigh* it was where I saw my very first concert back in 95...Pearl Jam, of course. SO many fond memories of that place...but now, due to noise complaints by the neighors, down it goes...*sigh*. There was just this certain appeal to the place for me...flat, outdoors, beautifull accoustics, easy enough to get too...big bands played there, PJ, the Cure, Neil Young....etc. no more. PJ won't be playing there on this summer tour :( I'm curious now to see what venues in the Bay Area they book...IMHO, Cal Expo was the best place to see them in the Bay Area...
