Well, Monday I found a camper/trailer availible for rent in August...but she gave it to someone else yesterday due to a mixup in the date she needed confirmation by...I thought today she thougth tuesday...she has a room for rent instead that I'll be taking...both at 1005 Hootnum, Eureka. It's about 8 miles from HSU, but it's off the freeway, which has been much louder and distracting as of late...

Had a ***really*** cool dream this last sleep cycle...woke up around 9AM, went back to sleep to enjoy it more and theng got woken up by the phone aroudn 10:30...so I completely lost all memory of the dream...I was rahter pissed. Like I wrote, it seemed vivid and clear and detailed enough for reality to be it...hmmm...E told me yes'erday Spank is looking to record some more stuff now...good for me cuz I get to mess around with my new cardiods a bit...wahoo!

Garbage is playing The Warfield tonight in SF...probably still playing right now as a matter of fact...10:32PM
Thats another show I wish I could be at...so are the Sonic Youth shows next week at the Fillmore...so are the Mike Watt shows in June in Sacto/San Jose/and San Fran...Hell I hope Wendy wants me to work a few shifts when I'm in Antioch...I really need the dough.
I'll probably record another sound file tonight and upload it tommorrow...but for just now I wanted to just type for a while.

Actually have kept up the morning exercises after the initial 'return to exercise aches for a day or two wore down a bit. Maybe I should work myself up to actuall running a bit...some beautiful back woods trails for it just a few blocks away...might be dried from the recent rains by now, but I doubt it...

The problem with the audio bits so far is just plain size...sounds like crap compressing a 16bit file to 8bits...at least it does to me with my overlysensitive ears...maybe it doesn;t sound so terrible to you as it does now...sounds like shit to me though...

I can probably leave it at 16bit and just convert to a .wav...my software records it as an aiff file...i gotta find a better program to record/convert...sure would like a Tascam DA-p1 portable--got a much better output level and i wouldn't have to go through hissy external amplification...

finances...um, yay...if i can't get work somewhere these next couple months, I might have to sell a deck,...to hell with buying another $1200 machine...but dreams are nice, aren't they?

Sometimes I marval at my attention span...seems as if I always go hard core on one or two pursuits then drop them like the bad habit I can't drop...*sigh* smoke smoke smoke...but I've at least cut back on niccoteine these past few weeks...should be able to quit completely...just so easy to fall into it when i'm bored...being around smoker friends doesn't help much either...

Got checked by Torie again the other day when I went in for coffee and other food items...can still picture her cradling the bag and inhaling it's steady aromoa...her favorite blend she said...basic columbian supreme...told her I'd offer her some but apologized because i didn't have a hip filter on me...how cool would that be, a portable coffee maker on your hip belt...

I suppose some real swift guy woulda taken that as a chance to offer her some after work...but I am no real swift guy...

Here's exciting news--did laundry today.

Dropped Frank some of my PJ concert vids..I never watch em and doubt I will over summer even at mom and dads, so at least they have a good home for a while and he's already watched some of hte collection, so...he's off to Montanna and Iowa for these next couple weeks...

Dad's in Ireland right now...hope things are getting peacefull over here right now...can't recall if they were supposed to have signed the accords by now or not...hope hope hope. Sister has moved into her new house and it's well on that front.
