Um, yesterday was a rather uneventfull day...a couple things almost worth mentioning though...
Spent most of the day at Greg's...picked up McD cheeseburgers for lunch ($.39 on sundays...not good for you, but cheap, tasty, and filling...) and a few beers...played Descent, smoked, drank coffee, ate burgers, watched Simpsons, hung out with Frank and Louie, a couple of Greg 'n' Steve's friends from San Ho originally, from Fresno as of late....hmmm...now who do I know in Fresno? Hehe..yes I changed the journal links to reflect your conern Jen, did you notice?

Recorded a few takes of Shell the other day...but I'm not so happy with them...doesn't sound angry enough...methinks I need to really push myself and let go of myself to get it right...Like I've said though...right now it just doesn't suit my mood...it'd weird to feel happy when you read so much of depression and angst...

Went through most of my old poetry yes'erday...made me a little depressed to realize just how much of it was utter crap...but hey, that's a writer's life I guess...definitely not one of those 'churn out the 'hits'" kind of writers...but i did find a few promising lines here and there...and go figure something I labeled as "shit" had several good lines in it...hmmmm...need more coffee....

yeah ima lazy fucking bum right now...got up at about 7AM then went back to sleep...really should have stayed up so I could get to bed early tonight...going to see the "petrfied forest" tommorrow at 7:12AM...minus 1.6 feet low tide then...the spectacle is only visible at such low tides...greg says it's quite the beautifull scene so we're gonna check it out...I've been soaking in all the beaty up here as of late, since it'll be a couple months w/o over summer...ive already written before how I appreciate the serenity and beauty of nature up here more when I know I'll be away from it for a while...

I did find a poem that, while it doesn't really suit the moment, and isn't terribly well written lyrics wise...*does* cry out spoken word all over the place..."Angst"...it's a poem I've always enjoyed reading aloud and will probably be the next poem up...I'll see how it goes.

Somethign about this PJ show that really gets to me...'exotic orient' heheheheh...some really nice jams and such...Incredible version of "Blood"...one of my all time favorite PJ songs...

I really ought to make mom and dad a mix tape before in the next couple of days.

Not putting either of my DAT decks in storage over summer. Not because I really think I'll need them, just because I don't feel safe putting the big deck in storage

Probably the most interesting thing that happened yesterday was running into Christa at Safeway...it was the second time in not tool ong a timeframe that's happened...so weird the odds of that happening....the women has a nack for running into ppl it seems...very exciting/thought provoking time she had in Chico...past life experiencing...

"1,2,3,4...What the fuck is this world running to..."PJ "Porch"

Really gotta make mom and dad a mix tape...if just so they know what I 'see' in PJ and just *why* I am so willing to "throw my life and money away" to experience the music performed live...

Had a dream after I went back to sleep this morning..PJ live, covering a Soundgarden song...old song, not on _Superunknown_ or _Down on the Upside_ but I can;t remeber any of it..just know it was a sndgrdn tune...what with Matt Cameron playing drums for them this summer...they've already stated there is quite a likelihodd for "Land of a Thousand Years" on this tour...i think that's the name of the song...not as big into Soundgarden as one might think considering that is 'my scene' as far as music goes...I'm so happy i got to see them live at least once regardless...

I can do 50 pushups at one go now. does that make me a 'strong guy'? I'm taking today off from it today though...don't want to kill myself over exerocising....wow such a cool jam on "Porch" one of my other all time fav songs...esp. live...

Had Maui flashbacks yesterday...wore my Maui T-Shirt...my current fave T-shirt...most recent PJ tour shirt is always my favorite T-shirt, btw...can't wait to see what this summer's T-shirts will be like...yeah yeah..."Catholic Boy" (By Jim Carrol...what an incredible artist he is!) improv wedged into the Jam section of "Porch"...

I wonder every once and a while about those hits from australia, or the orient...one hitters...probably got her through a web search...oftentimes I wonder just what search brought those people here or if it was a link from another journal...a web search for "Hard to Imagine" (PJ song) brought me to Jen's journal, and ultimately to putting my journal online...

Fuck I dig on this show...

"Satan's Bed"..."Roll some models in blood...get some flesh to stick so they look like us."

I am out of coffee filters...I had to tear up a lunch bag to use...and as a consequence I just took a *big* swig of coffee grounds in my last gulp...icckkkkk....

I'm feeling somewhat creative this afternoon...I think I'll pull the trumpet out in a bit...
