I just spent about five minutes looking for my teeny travel speakers for sound...nada....i don't wanna use the inner ear headphones right now either...arrggghhhh.
It's OK, it's better karma to leave a room void of music before you leave it forever....to pin one certain artist or performance in on such a night is a bad idea anyway.....ahhhh....fuck it, no it's not. I need some music....
 

AHA! success. found the devilish beasties...I lost a pair once bought another, then found the first ones...one of them is in a storage lot at Midtown Storage, McKinleyville, USA a nice 2nd floor :( 8x6ft skeletal wood timbered space for my wordly possessions for june and july and *maybe* august as well....i'll see....now music!

My stuff ain't so heavy...one bookshelf, one dresser/drawer, one roll-top desk, bed, big TV, nightstand...oh yeah, and a chibachi (sp?) that I had forgotten to pack away until i got home this evening...oh well...do it tomorrow...then it's off to Antioch for a bit. Called the CK and left a message for Wendy to call tomorrow...here's hoping for the best...driving the U-haul truck made me ease any heevy jeevies I'd have changing to such a different car, sitting high, no rearview, etc...just like the truck...

I think I got screwed over...getting the truck was a hassle since everyone is moving right now, since school let out...they said they'd give me truck as a 'one way rate' instead of the basic $19.95 deal you're always seeing on side of the trucks...I was "told" I'd save some money doing it that way...anyway I go to get the truck and they tell me I hafta drop it off in McKin...which is *fine* since it's about 2 miles, tops, from the storage place...and that way that place would basically have a truck delivered from renting out again...well I was looking at my receipt and what it said was *not* what the counter person had been quoting me when I went to pick up the truck...she held up this pamphlet and said, "this is the safemove protection plan" I never heard "for $15" maybe my hearing's gone bad or maybe I got dicked around....oh well.... and I looked at her and nodded, saying "OK" and later I find out that $15 is optional...I had told her I wanted it with "OK" she thought...shit...not to mention the "one way rate that was supposed to save me money" actually cost $13 more...god damnit. What can I do though, I signed my name to the bill and didn't realize my mistake until after I'd already returned the truck...
Maybe I could do an expose journalism story...bust a world wide U-Haul scamming ring for Time magazine or something :P

I hate typing with the computer sitting on the ground...it's a pain in the arse...but my desk is gone and that's where I set it...prop the back up with the roll top bit since the springs broke and it don't stand up of it's own accord anymore :(...um, yeah. So this is it for now. Maybe there will be somthing later tonight as I get bored...think i'm gonna miss christa b4 i go...damn.
