Usage of command line for minitz

  • The common step for all the shortcuts given below is to change the directory to home directory of MINITZ



  • Finding a word whose spelling in known to you:

  • Syntax:
    C:\MiniThesaurus>minitz [word to be searched] [press enter]

    Example:
    C:\MiniThesaurus>minitz exert [press enter]
    This command displays the word and meaning pertaining to "exert"

  • Finding word(s) which start with predeclared no of characters:

  • Syntax:
    C:\MiniThesaurus>minitz [/Startdigits_chars] [press enter]

    Example:
    C:\MiniThesaurus>minitz /2im [press enter]
    This command displays the word(s) and meaning(s) begining with "im"
    Note that there should be no spaces or tabs or what so ever between '/' and '2' and 'im'
