Resolution 7: The aims and objective of the RU Alumni Organization are |
:

1. |
To maintain contacts with the Alumni, home
and abroad, and to exchange ideas and information. |
|
2. |
To advise and help the students in
their problems and to provide financial assistance to the poor students |
|
3. |
To monitor and help promote the standard of education and research
in the university. Special attention will be given to the M.Phil./Ph.D.
programs. |
|
4. |
To seek collaborations in research
works with the institutions/organizations (home and abroad). |
|
5. |
To provide assistance for short-term training
of the young researchers abroad . |
|
6. |
To provide accommodation to and to
arrange seminar talks to be delivered or workshops to be conducted by the
Alumni when they visit Rajshahi. |
|
7. |
To honour the Alumni for their outstanding contribution and to award
prizes annually to best few contributors. |
|
8. |
To publish regularly the activities of
the Alumni Organization and the Alumni home and abroad in the form of a
newsletter. |
|
|
The Chairman and the Member-Secretary will
take appropriate action to incorporate any important point, raised by anyone
and not listed. |
