This page is specially for me, and my fellow IITians. I would like to remind
all of the "pledge" we all took, when we took leave of our IIT.
I, Mayuresh M. Rajwadkar graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, hereby pledge that I shall always endeavour to be scrupulously honest in the discharge of my duties as an engineer and scientist. I shall always endeavour to utilize my knowledge of Science and Technology for the service of the country and the glory of the Institute.In all circumstances, I shall try to uphold the dignity of the individual and the integrity of the profession.
We are/were no fools, when we took the pledge but some of the better half of us, still do not take the "for the service of the country" part of the pledge so seriously. I hope this reminder, will inspire someone (at least me) to do some faith to the pledge we took sometime.......... Mayur | ||||||||||||||||
