| Raluca having typical chinese breakfast. This consisted of noodle soup with all kinds of spices which you see in the various jars lined up in front of me. It took Ed and I a while to get used to soup for breakfast, but eventually we did. Also very popular and very tasty are dumplings, which are sold everywhere and we used to buy all the time steaming hot. |
| This is a typical Yunnan province mountain village. As you see, the houses are litteraly in the middle of the forest. It's hard to see how people get in and out of the village. It's mostly by foot, bicycle or some kind of moped. The roads are dirt, and in the rainy season you see landslides all over the place. |

| Houses in the rice fields. At this point we were on a flat portion, riding to Jing Hong. I felt amazing, free and alive just looking at the bright green fields and the misty mountains in the distance. |
