Margaret Opal Gilstrap Roper Bryant

August 19, 1924--October 12, 1980

Opal married Jake Roper, and they had five children--Sylvia, born December 16, 1943; Linda, born February 12, 1947; Jerry, born January 31, 1949; Allen, born March 13, 1952; and Tim, born June 11, 1956. Later she married Wilton Bryant.

At left is one of her probably taken in the mid 1940s. At right is another from somewhat later. Both these images are copied from photos belonging to Myrna, her son Jerry's wife. She is seen again below with her sister Sarah.
