The Mill shown in these pictures used the river flowing through Ramsey to power itself. The mill was built in 1892 as shown on the side of the building, (See the picture below)

It was originally made to grind flour by Thomas Flowers, through the years it has had several uses though, including Potato store, a grain drying building and now it has been converted into flats for people to live in and is known as "Rivermill Apartments" or "The Millhouse".
The below picture shows the mill from a reverse angle. As you can see, The small river still flows through the mill which local people now just use to fish in (This is called Factory Bank). The river comes from Bury Brook, under the center of Ramsey (the old canal) and through the tunnels next to the mill. The river still flows exactly where it did years ago because instead of moving it or placing the road near it, they actually built the road & town right over the top of it. The river then flows up stream to "Bill Fen Marina".
