Outtakes

I've only seen the movie once since I wrote these - yeah unbelievable isn't it? So bear with me here as I attempt to recreate the scenes and add an outtake to them.

Scene: The Locker Room
Participants: Randall, Mike, and Sulley

Mike had just finished popping a contact lens in his eye when, without warning, it slammed closed! Mike gasped in surprise. He opened the locker door.

Again it shut with a bang - right on Mike's fingers.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!" he yelled, pulling his fingers out of the space. He began hopping from one foot to the other holding his fingers.

Randall appeared and started laughing hysterically as Sulley slowly shook his head.

"Randall - this is the third take!" Sulley complained, glancing at the camera. "Cut, please."

Scene: Randall's Lab
Participants: Randall & Mike

Randall dumped the contents of the box onto a metal chair, expecting to see Boo, but instead he found. . .

"Wazowski!" he hissed in outrage, getting in Mike's face. "Where is it ya little one-eyed cretin?"

"Uh, that's creten, if you're gonna threaten me do it properly," Mike corrected.

"Whatever!" Randall retorted.

Mike fidgeted in his seat and replied, "You're crazy if you think kidnapping me is gonna help you eat your way to the top!"

Suddenly, one of Randall's hands hit his forehead. "Cut!"

"What? What'd I say?" Mike asked, blinking.

"It's CHEAT - not EAT," Randall stressed, shaking his head. "I need a break. . ."

"Oops! Sorry! Can I try that again? One more time! I think I got it this time!" Mike said to the director off-camera.

Scene: The Men's Bathroom
Participants: Boo & Sulley

The camera panned down to Sulley, who was patiently waiting outside a bathroom stall. Boo hummed cheerfully inside. Finally, the humming stopped. Sulley heard a flush.

He leaned closer to the door. "You're finished, right?" he asked though the door. As he moved back a step, something wet squished under his feet. Looking down he saw water.

Quickly, he opened the stall door to see Boo staring at the overflowing toilet. She looked back up at Sulley with a smile and pointed a tentacle at the toilet. "Oops."

Scene: The Scare Floor
Participants: Randall & Fungus

Randall raced down the hallways after Mike, Boo, and Sulley. Fungus followed not far behind. Once they got onto the Scarefloor they spotted them.

"There they are!" Randall cried. But suddenly a voice came over the intercom system - it was Ceila.

"Attention, employees. Randall Boggs has just broken the all-time scare record!"

Before Randall and Fungus could take one more step, they were surrounded by a crowd of excited monsters. The crowd cheered and tossed them into the air. They tossed them a second time and a crash echoed though the room. Little bits of glass rained down onto the set.

The crowd dropped Fungus and the camera panned up towards the ceiling rafters. Randall was hanging there - his head stuck in one of the lighting fixtures. He was trying to pull his head out, all the while making angry muffled noises.

Laughing now filled the studio and the director sighed. "Cut! Anyone have a ladder?"

(Note: Poor Randall. . .lol)

Scene: Monsters Inc. Hallways
Participants: Mike & Randall

Randall glanced at the front page of the newspaper and saw a blurry shot of Mike in the background. "Wazowski!" he hissed, turning to get his hands on Mike. But he was already gone.

Mike tore down the hallways of Monsters Inc. turning the corner. But as he did so, his feet slipped out from under him and he slid off camera. "IIIIEEE!" he yelled. A crash followed. The lid of a garbage can rolled across the screen.

"Hey! Who's the wise guy that double-waxed the floors?" Mike called.

Scene: The MI Hallways
Participants: Mike, Sulley, Boo, Fungus, and Randall

Sulley grabbed Mike as they made a break for it out of Randall's lab. Boo in his other arm, Sulley ran towards the Scarefloor. It didn't take Randall and Fungus long to catch up and they ran a few meters behind them.

Suddenly, a red, torpedo-shaped space ship flew in behind them through the hallways! It zoomed right over Randall's head, causing him and Fungus to stop in surprise.

Randall (staring at the ship): What in the heck-?

The space ship proceeded ahead and landed on the tiled floor - right on top of Mike, squishing him. Sulley skidded to a stop and Boo giggled and pointed at Mike's feet, which were still sticking out from underneath the spaceship.

Boo (giggling): Mike Wazowski go boom!

Sulley watched as a wierd, blue alien creature with big ears waved. It was a familar Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. Randall and Fungus walked up behind the spacecraft and Randall put his hands on his hips.

Randall: Hey, get your own movie!

Director: Cut!! Who let him in?

(Poor Mikey. . .lol)

Scene: The Receptionist's Desk
Participants: Mike, Roz, and Sulley (in the background)

Mike strolled casually up to the receptionist's desk with a big smile, hoping to say hello to his sweetheart. He left Sulley's side to join Ceila at her desk.

Mike: Oh, Schmootsy Poo!

He sets his arm on the desk top and smiles flirtatiously. The chair turns around to reveal. . . . .Roz!

Roz (in her dull tone): Hello Wazowski.

Mike (jumps back): AGH!! You're not Ceila!

Roz: Ha ha ha ha!

Sulley cracks up and Mike stares at the camera.

Mike: You didn't see a thing.

Sulley (still laughing): Cut!
