Random Task Guy all started on (date).
Peter Brinen has been attending Ashram for 11 years.
This was his second year as a Small Group Leader. Peter has always been
known for doing the odd jobs around the Youth Hall. This year the camp
started as normal, then it happned. Peter, being renound for knowing
all the memory verses, was called upon by Joel to teach the week's memory
verse. Peter, reluctantly went up. Not so long after this,
Peter started to do other random tasks, guarding the door against the adults,
forcing the youth to sit at the front and push as far in the seats as possible.
This was just the beginning of Random Task Guy.
It doesn't take long for the name Random Task Guy to come
to mind. Hence Peter was labeled. Not long after the name was
formulated, it was decided by the two first year guitar players that Peter,
now known as Random Task Guy, did indeed need a costume. So the planning
began. After a brisk trip to Bargain Harleys, spending a mere $3.59
the materials were bought. Sporting a pair of 25 cent oil slick sunglasses,
$1.88 on a pair of bright orange hunter(safety) gloves, and only $0.99 on
a cape made from half a shower curtain, held with some string and fashoned
in duct tape on the back a RTG logo, the costume was created.
Certain important people were informed of this creation.
With the time now chosen, and everything planned, it was time to supprise
Peter with the costume. During an afternoon session, just after praise
and worshipand memory verse, the presetation was made. Peter was now
officially RTG!
Hesitant at first, Peter eventually gave in and took the
costume in pride! "After Lance wearing the shirt, I could certainly
do this" as quoted by Peter.
This is the creation of RTG. I'm sure there will be more adventures of RTG to come in the following years.
