i made pasta salad for the BBQ on the weekend =) yay me! yes, it is a big accomplishment for someone who doesn't do much cooking.. AND, most importantly, it DID taste good! even jen liked it... seeee, she wrote:
"most touching moment: Sarah came over this morning and bought me her pasta salad and it was very very good...minus the green onions and the parsley <hey, that's only cuz she has a thing against the stuff, doesn't mean it was bad ok?>...but very very good! i'm touched. i guess i'll have to whip up a batch of cookies or banana bread soon."

i think my parents are planning a huge BBQ cuz they're making me clean up the house.. A LOT.. like all the stuff that's never clean - the pantry and drawers and the inside stuff. and we got some nice old gardener guy to come and landscape our backyard / frontyard... he charged $200 but hey, at least I DIDN'T have to do it =). hehe jen wrote: "getting LAZIER too i think..hahah..Sarah..you gotta admit, i'm much lazier than you" < umm.. no.>

TRANSIT TRAUMA: putting this little section up cuz those drivers are so moody... those "dumb-late-arriving,
20km/h-driving, slow-transfer-giving, slamming-the-brakes-on-an-amber-light-even-though-you-could-have-clearly made-it, making-you-miss-your-next-bus-by-10-FREAKIN'-seconds, MORONS!"
(-salma) lol, so if u've had some interesting/embarassing/funny experience, lemme know so i can laugh my ass off at you =P

tell sarah a funny bus story!

bus story #1 - submitted by jen:
funny bus story eh? well, i was on the bus one day w/ my friend (who shall remain aynonomus) and it was her first time taking the bus. so...little did she know, that a bus transfer was suppose to only be SHOWN to the driver upon boarding instead of accidently putting it INTO the TICKETS SLOT. the error was too late to be avoided, so in the bus transfer along w/ the rest of the tickets. and mind you, i was already laughing my butt off, but the bus driver was nice enough and just looked on in sheer frustration. the end.

bus story #2 - by gopher:
the bus driver always looks at me like i am weird.

bus story #3 - submitted by arnav:
I waz on my way home and I accidentally pushed that stupid red button thing. When noone got off the bus, the driver snapped, claiming he would remove us all from the bus and/or call the police. Within his ramblings, he mentioned how he was the captain and the bus was his ship and he was the captain of the ship. He said this point repeatedly. I have since been afraid to ride the bus,
but do so because of a lack of transportation options.

bus story #4 - submitted by salma:
my brother and I would take the bus everyday, and this same old, slow-witted fellow would happen to be driving it every freakin' day...and what was supposed to be the 5:00pm bus, turned into the 5:08pm bus when this guy was behind the wheel, (for those of you that don't see the difference of 8 mins. then you obviously have the luxury of owning your own car or being driven every where, and to that I ask, what are you doing reading this page??), as I was saying...the bus stop had this little in-way, where he could pull the bus in a bit in order not to disturb the traffic (since it was such a busy street) and for some reason, he had this thing against doing that! instead he would stop before the in-way began, and wait there while we walked over to him...meanwhile all the cars behind him had to stop, which was defeating the whole purpose of the in-way!), and walking over a curb FULL of snow to the bus that could have easily pulled in just a bit so we wouldn't have to was a bit annoying...this by the way was all the ppl who awaited within the shelter could talk about...so finally one day my brother, who is not an outspoken person at all, got really ticked off and told me that he was gonna ask the bus fellow why he keeps stopping so far ahead of the stop...he was going to tap into that deranged, psychotic mind of his and find the root of the problem as to why it was so damn hard to stop just a few feet closer to the stop...so my brother decides to prove me wrong about him being soft-spoken and asks him why he can't pull in just a few feet more...and to the astonishment of the bus fellow, myself and the lady behind us who was also ticked off and one dwellings of the shelter he cowardly began his reasoning about how it was easier for him and us (apparently) to not drive all the way into the in-way...like a slight turn of the wheel was going to save our lives or something...I was still so shocked that my brother said anything, yet proud that he did, but I froze...and took my seat...the next day at precisly 5:08pm, the same old slow-witted fellow arrived, and stopped within the in-way...prouder I could not be...until the following week when he went back to his old habits and thought we didn't notice...and because of that...I now avoid all costs of riding of the Mississauga Transit...anyone wanna give me a ride? :D
