I'm an Australian expat living in Kuwait and loved your synopsis on Kuwait! Pictures were great .. but I particularly liked your perceptions of Kuwait.

Driving on one wheel is indeed what they do here in Kuwait so you would fit right in with the locals! I particulary liked your dad's quote from the Tamil writer .. very true!!

Did you know why there aren't many animals in Kuwait's zoo?? It's because the Iraqi's slaughtered them all during the invasion .. and they just haven't bothered replenishing their zoo.

I think it's great you came to visit your family here .. and it certainly is an eye opener. It's a shame to say though that most Indian's in Kuwait get treated horribly by the locals .. and that telling them you lived in the US would have helped you. I'm glad you had a nice trip .. and yeah .. anything there is to see in Kuwait you have seen it in a few days .. after that the place is as boring as hell! Like you said .. most expats (whether they are Indian, American, Australian, Sri Lankan etc) come here to make money and get out as quickly as they can!!
