Not Every Queue...
It was Ah Beng's day off from school so his father decided to take him for a tour of the City.
They passed by Cecil Street and saw a long queue outside the Turf Club. (Betting House).
" Dad," asked Ah Beng," why are these people queuing up?"
" They hope to make some quick money," his Dad replied.
They passed by a bank where people formed a long queue to get forms for the latest IPO (initial public offer) of shares.
" Dad," asked Ah Beng," why are these people queuing up?"
" They hope to make some quick money," his Dad replied.
When they walked on and saw another queue, Ah Beng said," Dad why don't we queue up and make some quick money?'
They were standing outside the Property Tax Department.
Moral: Not everybody queues up to make quick money.
