Endless Quest

Life is so funny I’m amazed,

I’m wide-awake, but still I’m dazed,

Its like a grassland, already been grazed,

Or maybe it’s just the way I was raised

Happiness seems to be spread all over,

But I always lose it, before I get closer,

It’s like a deck of cards, without a joker,

I’m tied to sadness, with a chain and choker

I go in circles, keep taking rounds,

I never see happiness, but I hear the sounds,

I’m in a cage, that has no bounds,

I see no trees, just endless grounds

But my endless quest, ends upon you,

You make me happy and fade every blue,

But I doubt my luck, so before I lose you too,

I want to let you know, that I really love you
