This club was born out of the Field Target scene.
Many of our members were hunting airgunners and couldn't bring themselves to pose on a cushion in front of a target.
Nothing macho in that ...just that they felt awkward and some just where not the shape for it ( beer bellys do get in the way !), so they asked for something else to be done ....and hey presto ........Sporting Air-Rifle was embarked upon for the first time in Northern Ireland.
The next step was where ....and that turned out to be LURGAN, Co.Armagh.
