• all of the chasis are very flexible they are thermoset type of plastic.  meaning when heatd it can be distorted and distorted.
• step one: if you decide to measure the speed on your own customized track with out a speed checker and lap timer here is an easy way(customised meaning buying other track pieces to connect to the main track).  measre each straight, bank, curve, and hill.  just one of each.  count how many of each type of track you have.  then multiply by that naumber.  now add all the measuremets,  you have to know the total length that he car will go on .  step 2:  if you have a stop watch time your car the finsh line should be the starting point DUH.  step three:  now calculate the speed usig the MATH formula: speed=distance/time.( "/" means divide).  the distance is the runnig lengthe of the car.  time is the meaurement of how long it takes to travel it in 1 LAP.  here is an example of finding the speed  the running length is 33 ft.  it takes about 3 seconds to travel it.  the speed is 11mph.  keep in mind the type of measuremnt you are using metric or english.  i use metric even if i live in california.  everything is divisible by 10.
