1. Experience Nintendo have over 20 year's experience. (100+ years if you count when they made playing cards in the late 1800's) Sony and Microsoft cannot boast that much experience, and that is going to play a major part in the success of the Gamecube. 2. Games Nintendo have all the best game franchises. They have published some of the greatest games of all time. Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Zelda I and 2, Mario 64, Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, The Donkey Kong series. The list could go on and on. 3. Characters Nintendo have the best exclusive characters that no other video game system has. Mario, Luigi, Link, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, Joanna Dark, Banjo and Kazooie, and the latest addition, Conker. (Come on Sony lovers name one character that has been in great games again and again) 4. Gameboy Advance The Gameboy is the most successful handheld system ever. Now that the Gameboy Advance has been released, and it can be used with the Gamecube, it can't get much better. 5. Rareware Rareware. Just the name brings satisfaction. Rare is the most successful 2nd Party developer and personally, I think they are the best developer ever. Theycontinually release hit game after hit game. Goideneye, Perfect Dark, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Mickey's Speedway USA and KI Gold. Impressive, Huh. 6. Shigeru Miyamoto This guy is a legend. He was the one man that re-invented video games, starting with Donkey Kong in 1980. Since then he has overseen the greatest games ever, and will continue to do so in the future. 7. Gamecube The greatest console is about to be released and I know that Nintendo will knock Sony from the top spot, and reclaim the throne of video games. 8. Multiplayer There is nothing like sitting down with 3 friends and plaving a denthmatch in Goideneye or Perfect Dark. Some dickheads, like computer geeks, think that you can play some shit computer game over the net with 15 other geeks. Where is the fun in that? When you do that, your not able to tease your mate after killing him, and when you play a computer game there is no atmosphere, no-one to share the enjoyment of winning a match. 9. No Loading Times Every gamers worst nightmare (especially Sony players) With my experience of playing a Playstation, I had to wait 25 seconds, yes, 25 seconds just to get into a level of Driver, and it wasn't even worth it, as the graphics sucked. The longest I waited on a N64 was 5 seconds, and that was on The World Is Not Enough. And I've heard that the Gamecube load times are shorter than the N64's. Very impressive. 10. Graphics The graphics on the Gamecube are better than the PS2's and thev look better than the X-box's even though the Cube isn't as powerful. Games that have been released on the PS2 have yet to stun or leave someone with that 'special' feeling after they play it. |
