Where Now For Banjo?

During the development of Diddy Kong Racing, Rare showed us the honey bear, Banjo. Soon enough Banjo, with along side him Kazooie, the breegull, starred in his own game, Banjo Kazooie(BK). Banjo Kazooie was a classic. Even some people said it eclipsed Super Mario 64. After the team had finished other projects they went back to the Banjo series, and came up with Banjo Tooie.

Banjo Tooie improved on almost everything that BK did,
and set the high standard for any other platformer. Rare
had just made another gem.

After Banjo Tooie, the team dispersed onto other projects,
and the Banjo series got pushed aside. The Rare teams
busily prepared there 3 announced GameCube titles, StarFox Adventures, Kameo and Donkey Kong Racing. Banjo and Kazooie got left behind. So where now Banjo? Rare would not kill off one of there most popoular titles would they. A GBA game is in development, but where is the version for the GameCube? Banjo 1 and 2 were far to popular to never see a sequel, especially on the GameCube system, which could double the size of the Banjo worlds. Rare has said that there are secret projects in the works, could Banjo Threeie be one of them? Only time will tell, and hopefully, the Banjo team provide us with anither kick ass game all over again. But will it ever happen. Kiler Instinct was popular, but it never got a sequel, could this happen to Banjo series as well?
