Feeding Puffers and Tank Mates
All of my fish are meat eaters. The Scat eats veggies also, and the others will nip at my my plants
too.
They all get a staple diet of frozen Formula One. A mix of shrimp, clams, krill, mussel, gelatin, squid, kelp, exc. Every day, or other day they also get eather snails, brine shrimp, or blood worms. I stay away from feeding them live fish, even to the eel. I don't want any of them thinking of swimming fishes as dinner.
The reason for the tank is the puffers so the diet is based on what the puffers would eat in the wild. I make sure all of the fish get what they need to eat, but I also pick tank mates that have the same needs as the puffers.
