- 3:41-3:52 – After Usagi bumped into Mamoru and Chibiusa and him left, Usagi is crying against a pole. “I can’t stand watching Chibiusa acting like a baby and getting carried around by Mamo-chan!” A thought bubble with Mamoru and Chibiusa (being carried) appears, and Usagi tries to punch it (they react to the fist coming in the bubble!), but the bubble pops and Usagi hits her hand on the pole.
- 3:56-4:02 – After the above scene, a high-up shot zooms into Prince Diamond on a chair.
- 4:40-4:48 – A shot of the area where the four future Senshi are using their power to hold off the attack from the Dark Moon. Saphir says "These are the 30th-century Sailor Senshi that that even my brother is having trouble with."
- 4:56-5:13 – We see the shot of the four future Senshi again. We then see Diamond’s head, who says “Saphir, you are annoying me…” and dispels the picture with his power. Emerald then says “That just proves how ignorant and incompetent Rubeus was! My strategy is different. If we are going to operate in the 20th century anyway, we should just send over all the Dark Power of the Black Crystal.”
- In the original, Sapphire (Saphir) said he made Emerald’s Dark Henges (the statues that look like her) into the shape that she wanted, but he thought it was in poor taste. In the dub, Sapphire says not to waste them, but he can make more if they’re needed (yes, that made no sense)
- The Droid in this episode, Marzipan, keeps its name.
- 14:12-14:13 – Mamoru throws an empty dish at the disguised Marzipan, who transforms back to normal. In the dub you see her transform as soon as she stops pushing the cart. However, if looked at carefully, you can see a tiny smudge change as she does so; this is the dish.
- When being told not to eat the cake, in the original, Mamoru calls Usagi “Usako”, his affectionate term for her (while he was trying to break up with her he just called her “Usagi”, a downgrade, so this change is a reaaaaaaaaaalllllly big one), and that’s why she gets hearts in her eyes. In the dub, he tells her not to eat the cake, and she goes “Oh wow! Happy day, he still cares about me!”
- In the timeframe from 15:03 to 16:48, twenty-eight (28) seconds of transformations are cut. The dub never shows the middle of the other four Senshi’s transformations (you know, with their element swirling around them and connecting to their body). I think I like how the dub does it better.
- In the original, Mercury says that once the other Senshi had been attack by Marzipan and turned into something sweet, if they were touched the wrong way they could shatter. In the dub, Mercury says that Marzipan’s center is soft and can “easily be trashed”. The original’s makes more sense when Marzipan throws that pink thing at them (which is smashed by Tuxedo Mask)
- Mercury’s “Shine Aqua Illusion” attack is finally named correctly in the dub.
- In the original, Emerald calls the girls flat-chested and had no hips. In the dub, she calls them girly-girls. Also, the dub Senshi keep saying that today’s enemy was named “Droido”, which is a take on their group name in the original, “Droid” (du-ro-i-do, which makes it sound like “Droido” coming from a Japanese speaker)
