Arms and Armor of the West
The world of Eloria is dangerous and sometimes savage. In order to protect themselves, the denizens of Eloria craft weapons and armor. The arms favored by the West rely upon a plethora of weapon types. Swords, polearms, spears/forks, maces, battle axes and all manner of missile weapons.

Sword Types- There are many types of swords popular in different regions of the west. The men of Nas Tirith and Dansig prefer the two handed Claymore and Espandon. The men of Kyria and Vandein seem to favor the Longsword and a parrying dagger.
The Great Swords of the First Men are rare and dubious treasures, for many can be enchanted and cursed. These massive swords were the preferred battle weapon for the First Men and is the preferred weapon for their descendants, the people of Hyborea.
Daggers- There are many styles of daggers in the West, from the curved blades of the midlands to the parrying daggers of the Dragon Sea. Daggers can be mass produced or decorated with precious stones. Most daggers are more or less the same in terms of physical damage, but some may possess bonuses to throw or parry.
-Kehman Dagger
Axes- The Northmen prefer the heavier battle axe and bipennis, usually designed for strong arms to hew and hack through armor or troll hides. In the east, axes are usually hand axes or throwing axes. The race of dwarves prefer axes and hammers over any other weapon type. Elves prefer the throwing axe if given a choice. The axe is also the traditional weapon of choice for executioners.
-Ankhish Spear Head
Spears/Forks- These weapons are favored by many militaries of the west, particularly the nation of Dansig. The length of the weapon and versatility make the spears/forks valued as weapons of war. They are easy to construct and require a minimum amount of iron, it is relatively easy to train with and the weapon is strong, light and deadly. The desert tribes of Aranoch value the spear as do many merchant guards and mercenaries.
-Nas Tirith Battle Axe
Armor and Defensive Garments- The West has been wracked by wars, famine, plague and storms, but one thing has been constant, people need armor. The majority of people have access to the soft armors available, especially Quilt through Hard Leather. There are  many well trained and gifted leather workers found throughout the world. However, metal working, in regards to the heavy armor, seems to have regressed in skill. Not many know the art of linking metal let alone scale and plate.
