The first and most unique of Six Flags Ohio's coasters is Superman:  The Ultimate Escape which is an Intamin inverted shuttle coaster.   Shuttle coasters go back and forwards along the same track.

When the trains get propelled fast enough by S:UE's linear induction motors you go through a great heartline twist at the top of the first spike!  It's great in the front seat for the visual spinning effect!

Here's the train flying back through the station from the back spike.  For a moment on the back spike the train stops and you're touching nothing but your restraints...way cool!  S:UE is a great ride and I hope to see more great rides like this hopefully closer to Illinois!
