Sam

Miss you and love you lots Samantha!

New! As of November, 1999, Sam the iguana has found a great new home! A woman called up (about my age) for her, and Sam found a home! This young lady had blue hair (like mine often is) and goth clothes like I occasionally wear. She had an iguana once before, so she had all the accoutrements and experience necessary . I quizzed her on iguana care and she passed with flying colors. So Sam finally has someone who will love her and properly take care of her. I'm happy. If I had had more time I would have taken Sam in, but alas, my time is limited. I'm glad the other girl is like me--I think Sam is in good hands now.

As of October 26, 1999, my brother is trying to find another home for Sam since he does not care for her like he should. My mother and I have tried and tried to offer advice for her care but he never heeds it. We have to practically force him to clean her. He never bathes her and she smells. He wants only to feed her and that's all. So we have told him that if he cannot care for her properly he should give her to someone who can. I hate this and I would take her in if I could, but I do not have the place or time for her. I hope we can find a loving home for her. This is a message to all of you out there that all pets need to be researched before they are bought.

Pets are a commitment!

It would seem that my brother did not realize this. I had hoped he would, but he did not. Perhaps in the future he will choose his animal companion more wisely.
