Basic Information On The Anime
The anime has 51 episodes so far, for they stopped making it to give some time to Hiro Mashima to finish the manga. Whether they are in the process of making the anime's continuation, or whether it already exists, I do not know. Sorry! I know how much everybody wants the answer to that. I want it myself! All the 51 episodes are available on disk, DVD and VCD.
According to Arlet, a fellow G.A.R fan, a 6 pack with all 51 episodes is available on eBay for approximately $40.

Basic Information On The Manga
The manga is now (so far) a total of 22 books. While to my knowledge 6 of these books have been translated into English versions by Tokyopop, all 22 are available in Mandarin. The English mangas are more expensive than the Mandarin version, and both are available in Kinokuniya bookstores, Suria KLCC.
