December 20, 2006: St. Ann School

This Christmas Tree Mural was made by the St. Ann School Kindergarten Class of 2007. Each piece was raffled then put together to create the artwork displayed in the second floor hallway.

Mitzie and I haven't seen each other since Sapporo. At some point our interactions have been reduced to a three line chat on the YM *busy, busy, busy*

Where have I been? In my Kindergarten classroom! Christmas galore...Advent wreath, Christmas wreaths, angels, Christmas tree, Christmas Program with the 12 Days of Christmas and Christmas Alphabet, Christmas Party, and of course a Happy Birthday Song for the Baby Jesus. Tomorrow is the School Christmas party: a McDonald's Lunch. What else is great about tomorrow? It's the last day of school for the year. *yehey!*

Topic of Interest? What's with the weather? Not a speck of snow or a drop of rain, nor a truly bone chilling deep freeze. Not that I'm looking for any of these, puh-leze, I'm from CA...Snow is weird to me. However, I sure don't want any of that falling on me during my Christmas vacation.

After a long absence, here I am again! Sa mga nainip na makarinig ng update, my apologies. I am sure you all know why. Anyway, I believe we left off at the hotel and logo. Its more than a month now and I hope that you all have decided more or less on the type of accommodation you would require. So, here is the hotel reservation procedure.

We have a blocking of 10-Studio suite rooms and 2-1BR suite rooms. All of you can call the hotel directly to make your reservation and avail of these blockings. First come-first serve basis. You need to give them a major credit card to hold the room for you. They will not charge your card yet but they need that. So, for those who are sharing a room like DCal & WTex and L & M, you have to talk to one another and decide whose credit card you are going to use. The toll free number is 1-800-AFFINIA (800.233.4642) and make sure to introduce yourself as part of the (email us for code).

What we would like sana is to have our rooms close to one another as possible. If possible in one floor and in one wing only. But the only way to do that is if you guys can call as early as now to make the reservation. These requests are possible while the hotel is still wide open (meaning few reservations pa lang). If your flight is arriving early please make sure to inform the reservation of early arrival so they can have the room ready for you when you arrive. Just in case there might be a problem, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I am not a miracle worker I will just try..kung kaya. Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out is 12noon. Again, we'll see if you can arrange for a late check-out as well..if you want. By the way, PC is availing of the 1BR suite but he is looking for anyone who wants to share it with him. Anyone?

Now here are the restrictions:

Our blocking is good only until February 20, 2007. If you have not called to make any reservation by this time, all unreserved rooms will be released. If you have made a reservation and you canceled 1 day prior to your expected arrival, cancellation charges will be applied (1night charge).

Lauri and Nick, may nakalimutan pa ba ako? Marius, kelan tayo kitakits? X, any possibility that you can come before the reunion? Just to hang out. Let us know, okay?

LOGO: M, what is the latest with this? I think definitely out na yung heart. Its just a choice between apple and oblation. And, I guess a cheerful shade of color to befit spring. So, how about it? T-shirt courtesy of MB...maraming maraming salamat in advance.
