Painting and Drawing:
    Balancing Craft and Concept

Discover the balance of craft (skill) and concept (meaning) in your creativity.
Explore how to apply your fantasy, passions, and interests to your craft and
learn to express them conceptually. Bringing the two together by drawing or
painting expresses a better understanding of yourself and perhaps the world.
By focusing on your own courage, confidence, self-nurturing, and capabilities
you will learn to use freedom of thought in your work.

“I get a sense of reward from community involvement. My opinion
is that there is a huge decline in self-awareness from which many of the social
problems we live with evolve. People can have a huge impact in developing
a more aware community by critically thinking of oneself and one’s world
and in turn applying this to their artwork”
