Learn How to Paint
with Watercolors
Watercolor is a wonderful medium and is quite fun after you get the basics.
This workshop dispels the myth that watercolor painting is difficult. Discover
how to create various moods, light values, texture, volume, depth, and dimension
in still life objects. We will explore how to recognize primary, secondary
and tritiary colors along with mixing the color palette. You will learn to
use watercolor brushes, hot press and cold press paper with watercolor paints.
Also, watercolor techniques such as:
wet-in-wet
wet-over-dry
dry brush
spatter
sponging and daubing
wet-on-dry
“I like to offer encouragement and constructive criticism to the benefit
of the student, understanding that each student learns at their own pace achieving
what is comfortable for them. Having a pleasurable experience is of course
paramount!”
