My Favorite Teams:
New York Mets: They had an outstanding 1999 season and any Met fan should not be disappointed in the way that the team played. They have made some great moves this off season. We will miss the loss of John Olerud though. The best move they have made is the aquisition of Mike Hampton. In my opinion they still need another solid pitcher in their rotation to compete with the likes of their National League East rivals. I also think a major need is in the outfield, they need a power hitting outfield in order to make a run for the National League East Title. I am sorry but Rickey Henderson, Darryl Hamilton and Derek Bell are no going to cut it. Well I do look forward to the 2000 season and I will be there opening day!!! Lets Go Mets!!!!

New York Jets: We got hurt very early on this year with Vinny Testaverde going down in the opener. I must admit I panicked, I had visions of being 3 and 13 again especially when they were 1-6. I have been through it all with this team. I was very pleasantly surprised when they turned it around and ended the season 8 - 8. They were the best team not to make the playoffs!!! We will miss Parcells on the sidelines this year and I will not even waste my breathe to comment on the Bill Belichick fiasco! I have confidence in Al Groh and his abilities as a head coach and it was a nice move to bring Mike Nolan aboard to become Defensive coordinator. I look forward to the 2000 season and am ready for my trip to the Super Bowl in Tampa!!! J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!!!!

New York Knicks: Another team that had a great 1999 season making it to the NBA finals, I was disappointed that we werent more competitive in the finals though. Well we are working our way to the middle of the season and we are very hot on the tails of the Heat! I have some great expectations for this team this year. Lets see how it all pans out!!

New York Islanders: Its sad tha tI really dont have that much to say about this team. They are really making hard to be an Islander fan. I have been there from the days before the dynasty team of the late 70's early 80's to this mess. The best thing that could happen to this team is for it to be sold and maybe moved to a new market. But anyway I am still a die hard that will keep cheering no matter what!!
