Evergreen Terrace
This is the end of Evergreen Terrace. To the north of here is a two story inn that looks like it was recently rebuilt. To the westof here is The Conerian Post and to the east of here, EvergreenTerrace continues. It's becoming quite obvious how this roadgot it's name. Large evergreen trees follow the white brick pathall the way back to the beginning of it to the east of here. Between some of the trees are some shrubberies, and betweenthe shrubberies are some flowers. It almost feels like a forest.
It's daylight for once. Kind of odd to see an assassin walking around thenand there, out in the open no? But luckily for Suz, the townspeople don'tpay much attention to anyone, and, she's pretty much not taking up the nameof her so called "profession" anymore either. Suz glances up to the light, wincing faintly. As the sun already starts to settle down to the otherside, she lowers her head, welcoming the growing darkness. Howevercomforting the sun may be to others, the moonlight works just as well forher... Eyes narrowing, she takes a quick look around. Meeting Rathe theother night wasn't something she planned on happening-- and finding out ...that she was an ancient didn't help the matter either. Grimacing, she putsa hand to her growing stomach... she wish she'd knew the proper care forhelping this kid grow now. Wrapping her cloak around herself, Suz startsoff back to the nexus stone...
Eladria has been walking through Coneria, looking for Suzuran, having not found any sign of Suzuran on the beach. He spots a woman, cloak, and thinks he's found her. "Suzuran?"
Suzuran stops almost instantly, blinking. . o O ( Not Rathe... ... stay cool damnit...) ... But before she turns around, she tries to place the voice with a proper face, frowning. Hasn't heard it in a while-- but at least it isn't from Darkwood, or some other known "threat". Suz glances over her shoulder, but stays silent as a response.
Eladria walks forward, crystalline Eladria walks forward, crystalline armor shining in the light. "Is that you, Suzuran? It's me. . .Eladria. . ."
Suzuran says: ... Yeah, I know.
Eladria sighs. "Got a minute? I. . .I'd like to talk to you."
Shiroi , humming a little tone under her breath, steps in accordance to the rhythm, her fluffly black skirt swishing as she sways her hips. Perhaps it might seem odd not to have changed out of a cute little french maid outfit, traveling outside of Darkwood, but Shiroi didn't mind. She does delight in making people stare, and she technically still on duty, heading towards tycoon to find out what had became of the survivors of the Blades of the Red Heart.
... Huh, well, she hasn't heard that line in a while. Normally, people'djust show up out of nowhere, and end up interfering instead of reasoningfirst. Curiousity perking, but subsiding as she notes Elad's sigh, shemakes a slight grimace. "Is this about Rathe?" ... heck, that soundedrude, but-- until the kid's gonna come out... she doesn't really want totry to involve anyone else with the whole situation with Aestus.
Eladria says: Partially. . .though more important now is your safety. . .I've heard what he's done.
Eladria asks: Are you all right?
Suzuran says: ...
Suzuran says: I'm fine. Could be better.
Eladria lets out a breath. "I've been worried since I. . .woke up."
Suzuran asks: ... woke up?
Eladria asks: Recovered my. . .well, my old self. You remember how I didn't have a clue who I was?
Suzuran asks: .. ah.. ... what happened?
Eladria says: I found my gravesite. . .and faced a hard truth about me. But I'm back now. And trying to fix what I failed to when I didn't remember.
Shiroi raised an eyebrow at that. ::Well, that's one amnesiac case cured.:: She smirks.
Suzuran blinks at that, her eyes lowering faintly... whole thing reminds her of ... well, a certain someone. ... heck, anything would, really. She turns and face him completely now, though, still keeping the cloak wrapped around herself-- especially the midsection. Looking over Elad, she sighs. "Right... right."
Eladria says: Rathe is sick. But I know he can be cured, Suzuran. . .I know he's a good man. . .
Suzuran says: ... ... i know. Think I don't? ... I'm trying, damnit. I'm trying, and I'm failing. ... and I don't know how much longer I can last.
Eladria says: That's why I'm here. To help you, and him.
Eladria says: It sounds corny, but just borrow some of my strength.
Suzuran clenches a fist, glaring down now, anger clouding over those silver metallic eyes of hers, "And... with every person that wants to help--- he can hurt them. ... bad, worse. I don't know. ... I watched, I watched people suffer, and nearly /die/ because ... they felt they had to protect me or something."
Eladria says: Suzuran. . .I've known you a while, and I know that you certainly don't need me to protect you. But Rathe needs help, and I owe it to him.
Suzuran looks up, faintly. Frowning-- but throwing out another gived up sigh, she stares at the dwarf. "Do you have an idea?"
Eladria looks back at Suzuran. "I'm going to talk to him. If I can find him. . .and if it's not enough, then I'll beat some sense into him."
Shiroi snrks, somewhat abruptly. "Great plan, Eladria, great plan."
Eladria whirls around, and catches his first glimpse of the decked out Shiroi. He hardly recognizes her. "Did you just come from a costume ball or something? Darkwood have a new-employee fete?"
Shiroi stretchs, and straightened up with an arch of her back. "I'm Razz's maid," Shiroi nodded. "And Kaze made me." She makes a face, and smirked. "I think I look rather cute in it, don't you think?"
Suzuran shakes her head rather quickly. "... he's injured enough already damnit-- I mean, ... his arm's all shadow now-- leg taken out... kind of... obvious, 'knocking sense into him' isn't doing much good there." And well, for this reason, she refrains from mentioning that she /does/ in fact, know where Aest is.. assuming he was gonna stay there. Suz then glances up, blinking, and over to Shiroi too. Hearing Darkwood's name around here doesn't much surprise her, though, her eyes do narrow slightly...
Eladria turns a bit red. "Somehow, I doubt you'd need something like THAT to look 'cute'." He turns back to Suzuran. "Then it sounds like he'll be ready to talk."
Shiroi shakes her head. Heros, always so ideal. Casting a glance over the slight bulge that is Suzuran's stomach, Shiroi twisted her lips in a 'meh' kind of an expression.
Eladria says: Maybe he'll listen to me, if not to anyone else.
Suzuran says: ... don't know.
Suzuran says: ... he's too unpredictable. ...
Eladria asks: Only one way to find out. Where is he?
Suzuran shakes her head.
Eladria asks: You don't know?
Suzuran shakes her head.
Eladria sighs.
Eladria says: Damn. . .I was hoping you would. . .
Shiroi coughs.
Shiroi gives Suzuran a meaningful glance, and smirks in her direction.
Suzuran blinks back at Shiroi. "... who is she, Elad? ... other than what you've just mentioned before."
A mocking voice resounds through the room, "And why, exactly, should helisten to you?"
Shiroi raises an eyebrow at the resounding voice. "... well then."
Eladria says: She's a former Red Heart. . .now servant of Razz, it seems. . .
Eladria perks up at the voice, hand on his sword. "He was a friend, once. He may still be."
Shiroi waves at Eladria. "I was never a Red Heart... "
Suzuran says: ... right...
Shiroi say: And you didn't let me deliver my line! Tsk.
Sitting in the branches of the tree and looking almost like a mischievousyouth, the black-robed archmage smirks slightly. "A friend? I half-raisedhim, and he doesn't listen to me. He's as likely to kill you as to listento you."
Eladria spots him, and drops his hand. "Archmagus. Should've known. You can be a bit overbearing, ya know."
Shiroi glances in Suzuran's direction again. "Oh well, better late than never." She makes for an elaborate bow to the girl. "I am no one of any importance whatsoever." She winks.
Eladria asks: Do YOU know where he is, Matthew?
Suzuran'd smile, "You fit in with the corporation."
Shiroi says: That's what everyone keeps on telling me.
Suzuran says: ... my'd advice would be to leave. ... not healthy for you, if you get too deep in.
Shiroi says: Except for Matthew over there, but he's a lot more agreeable now that I'd finally given him that overdue blowjob I'd given to every other teacher that I'd had.
Eladria hears that, and stares in amazement at the Archmagus. "And I thought you were sterile, Archmagus. . ." He chuckles.
Shiroi tips her head to Suzuran. "And I might leave, if I didn't have that death wish." She heaves a long suffering sigh.
Shiroi eyes Suzuran's stomach again. "First time?"
Eladria says OOC: How's Ela supposed to know?
Suzuran's hands go over it. "... er-, yeah."
Matthew shrugs. "I wouldn't tell you where he was if I did know. He's gotenough overzealous would-be heroes pestering him."
Suzuran . o O ( ... good thing there. ).
Eladria growls. "You and I both know I'm no hero, Archmagus. And hell, maybe I won't make a difference at all. But I would think YOU, of all people, would want him back to normal."
Shiroi's midnight eyes traveled back up to Suzuran's eyes. "In that case," she gives Suzuran another hard look, as if searching for something in her face. "Allow me to return a piece of advice to you... Expect /nothing/ of it."
Suzuran tilts her head slightly, then closes her eyes-- well, maybe just to avoid Shiroi's. "Don't know. ... I have to expect something different... ... cause ... almost everything else I've expected stuff from ended up..."
Shiroi smiles, again. "Hiding won't help, unless you never intend to come out of your hiding place..." Shiroi seems to ponder over her own words. "Which isn't as bad as some might think, really."
Eladria asks: Shiroi, how are they?
Suzuran says: ... can't hide from shadows.
Suzuran says: ... not too well, anyway.
Shiroi says: Shadows are meant to be hid in.
Shiroi shrugs.
Shiroi asks: Justin and Razz, Eladria?
There's an off hiss, like a hiss of the wind through buildings...
Eladria nods at you.
Shiroi say: None of them are in danger of immediate death, as far as I know.
Suzuran blinks slightly, glancing about..
Eladria notices Suzuran. "What's wrong?"
Suzuran says: ... ... nothing.
Another quiet hiss sounds... no, it could not be the wind.
Eladria listens. "What in the HELL is that?"
Suzuran's eyes lower, then quickly takes another quick look around, her skin would grow even paler- if she weren't already.
Shiroi rolls her eyes.
Eladria looks at Shiroi. "What is it?"
Shiroi exclaims: I propose a game of standing around in tense battle-stances while waiting for the origin of the hissing noise to pop out!
Shiroi says: Actually, seductive poses are sounding better and better than battle-stances by the second...
Shiroi exclaim: Sexy battle-stances!
Eladria looks at her incredulously. "Was I the ONLY instructor you didn't come on to? It sure sounds like it. . ."
Shiroi jumps up and down.
Shiroi stares at Eladria blankly. "I came onto you plenty of times."
Something winds around Shiroi's left leg as she jumps up and down -- if anything, it feels like a snake, a constrictor, except it's not pulling, or tugging, just there. "Isss a nice ideaa..."
Eladria shakes his head. "No you didn't. . ."
A small flicker of light surrounds that snakey leg-constrictor pulsatingsoftly, trying to be unnoticeable.
Shiroi peers down at her left leg. "Hmm, could this be the beginning of a tentacle rape...?"
Shiroi says: 'cz I was never into tentacle rape, you know.
Eladria asks: Tenta. . .what the hell is that thing??
"... if you waaant it." The voice giggles, in that creepy, echoing way. Then, deadpan, and almost without the echo, "No."
Eladria draws Lightcatcher, and steps toward Shiroi. "Whatever you are. . .OFF. Now."
Shiroi tsked, looking almost quite disappointed.
The winding feeling around Shiroi's leg drifts off, like sand blown in the wind... then, popping up quite of it's own accord, a half-formed wolf... as though of corporeal shadow, sits not too far off from her.
The light that flickered about the corporeal shadowling flies over to theglowing blade, increasing its light intensity tenfold.
Shiroi exclaims: Argh, bright light.... can't stand it... melting....!
Eladria asks: What ARE you?
Shiroi seems to whither in pain.
The darkling parts its mouth, a translucent tongue rolls out. It's apparently looking at Eladria sharply -- not that where it's looking can be too certain, as the thing doesn't quite seem to have eyes. "You don't rrremember me... Kirrran..."
"But I do...", reverberates another voice on the air.
Shiroi says: Cherish you o/~
Suzuran grimaces faintly.. though she quickly takes her sheath out, holding the weapon parallel to the ground. Blue flames instantly start to flare-- through the sheath, although they don't seem to be effecting it at all... She slams it down against the ground there--- where the tip would be-- a larger flame forms, completely envelops the area around and below, and follows up. After a second, Suz pulls the weapon back-- and when the flames subside-- only a thin outline of some half dragon/half wolf creature remains.
Shiroi cough.
Voice stopping with the lame, cliche echo, the shadow-thing seems to ruffle nonchalantly. "Trickster, I think you knew me as. I rather go by Parova, as Aestus has been merrily telling people."
Eladria says: You. . .I thought Ayin would have offed you long ago.
Eladria holds Lightcatcher solidly. "But I can cover for his lapse."
"Ayin was strong, but he didn't have enough power to destroy it",reverberates that other voice.
Giggles burst out from the shadows, rather than from the creature itself. ... kind of like it's not just laughing at Eladria, but at Suzuran, too.
"Ayin couldn't destroy all the shadows in the multiverse", continued thatstrange voice flowing in the wind.
Eladria whirls, Lightcatcher with him, searching the source of the giggling.
Eladria says: Trickster, if this is your doing. . ."
The half-formed wolf slips forward, slumping down to the point where it must be laying, then it flattens out, like it rolled over onto its side. "Just the giggles, not HIM, oh paranoid one."
Tylf starts to walk up to the shadows it sees, blinking at it, then lettingout a low growl... though it's a cute "roaring" growl at Parova.
Eladria growls, and slashes at Parova. "I swear. . .I'll kill you."
Some of the lesser shadows in the area fade away and vanish by some unknownlight force. Of course, Parova is still there. And, no less, unperterbed by Eladria's swipe.
Eladria asks: Enough games, Trickster. Where is he?
Suzuran looks around somewhat, . o O ( ... wonder if he's /here/ too... ... )
However, the darkling does open one red-glow eye... oddly, on its nose, rather than where any eye should normally be. It brightens, apparently pondering over Tylf's... challenge.emote poses off to the side, for a lack of anything better to do.
Shiroi poses off to the side, for a lack of anything better to do.
Tylf takes in a puff of air, standing on all fours now, those eyesnarrowing down, and he roar/bark/growls s'more, letting its wings flareback around itself... and well, for something that's just about a feet anda half tall, he doesn't look quite as scared as one may think.
"Where he alwaysss isss when he's licking hisss wounds like a dog." The shadows giggle again, not as shrill this time. The darkling picks its head up, that nose-eye winking out, and two eyes appearing in the places they're SUPPOSED to be on any normal creature. One regards Shiroi, one regards Tylf...
Eladria raises his blade, and starts gathering light inside it. "Trickster, you have fifteen seconds before I blast you into another realm."
"That won't work you know...", says that windy voice.
The darkling turns its head to fully stare at Eladria. "You should listen to the over-enigmatic one who doesn't feel like showing himself. He is quite correct."
Eladria steps up to the darkling, sword still held high. "Rathe Fortissime is a friend of mine, Darkling. And I intend to catch up on old times. If you have a problem with that, I'll deal with you as I have so many of your kind."
Eladria says: The games end now.
The darkling rThe darkling rolls, suddenly up on its feet. As it moves, this time draconic wings pull from the shadows pooled on the ground about it -- it's as though the darkling is making a mockery of Tylf's form, by echoing it. Those oddly translucent wings flare out across the street for a span of maybe... twenty, twenty-five feet, their tips touching the ground. "You can bother him if you so like, no need to be so rude."
Eladria brings the sword down, behind him, staring at the darkling before him. "Where. . .is. . .Rathe?"
Shiroi mutters to herself. "That kinda reminds me of a certain Dragon Ball Z episode, where they go 'This planet will explode in 15 minutes!' - 2 weeks later - 'You still don't know how powerful I /really/ am!'!
Tylf tilts its head, staring at the large wingies. It seems to have thatlook on its eyes-- like it did when it saw the arrow the other night..
Tendrils and wisps of light slowly cover over Parova's wingspan, smallpieces of the shadows decaying into nothingness.
Eladria raises his voice, loud as he can. "Rathe Fortissime! Eladria Kiran is back, and needs to talk to you! Get out here!"
The darkling rather suddenly growls, the sound echoing along the air, and snaps its wings back, folding them -- they just melt back into its form. Nonchalantly, it sits back down, then starts giggling at Eladria's proclamation...
"He's not heeere... Kirrran." the shadow-wolf seems to purr, "... but, I suppose you could ask his brother where he is. He knows, too."
Eladria narrows his eyes. "Tell me where he is. . ."
Suzuran looks around slightly, sighing. . o O ( Well, then, that's a relief... )
Shimmering sparks, varying from small to large begin to spin and swirlabout the air right next to Parova.
Shiroi says: Sparkly.
Rather ignoring Eladria's demand, Parova unfolds one wing to let it drift to the ground on his side opposite of where the lightshow is starting. "He makes an entrance due to one his title, this time?"
The light show eventually takes the form of an elven-like figure, eventually forming Alishar. Alishar's right hand sits on top of Parova'shead, ruffling his shadowy-fur hair.
Tylf's ears perk up, and it growls again, this time a little moremeanacingly.. though, it's still only pup-like, as it pounces on Parova'swings-- and start to gnaw on them.. um, however viciously it can.
Eladria closes his eyes, muttering to himself. "I did not get reborn to be mocked. . ." He looks at Alishar with near-hate in his eyes. "Where IS he, Alishar?"
Suzuran looks over to Alishar, and she quickly shakes her head while still behind Elad.
... all in all, the darkling sits and -takes- it. Both the petting, and the... munching.
Alishar looks up to Eladria, speaking in a foreign tongue different fromLefeinii and Elven, but it sounds something like, "Sore wa hi-mi-tsu desu."He then takes on a normal common language, "I cannot tell you right now foryou'd lose another life."
Alishar smiles.
Eladria growls. "Alishar, I am in debt to you. But I swear on ALL that is holy, I am losing my patience! Tell me where Rathe is. I need to find him."
Shiroi says: Go Eladria. You're sure showing him.
Alishar simply asks, taking his hand off of Parova's head. "What do youneed to know from him?"
The darkling... apparently feeling at least a good part of 'discomfort,' to say the least, from Tylf's chewwing, tugs its wing back a little...
Eladria asks: I wish to speak with him. Is it so hard to get an audience with the great Rathe Fortissime? Has my absence made me unwelcome?
"... Rathe Fortissime... unlike you... ... ..."
Tylf paws against Parova's wing, trying to climb on top of it as itmoves... and well, it tries to stay on the wing by biting into it.
"It's not HARD to get an audience with him." Parova's head cocks aside, those re"It's not HARD to get an audience with him." Parova's head cocks aside, those rd eyes dimming quite a bit. "You just have to ask very nicely, or go drop lightballs in his stupid alley. That ususally gets his... or my associates, attentiAWK."
Eladria . o O ( Alley. Now I'm getting somewhere. ).
Alishar shakes his head, finishing. "is ... ... ..." He looks to Suzuran."... dead."
The darkling, after quickly catching itself from the cry, lets out a lilting growl at Tylf, now.
Eladria shakes his head. "No. He can't be dead."
"Aestus Aetherius has taken his place. The person we all knew as Rathe isdead. ... dead... DEAD! DAMN IT! Don't you understand?!"
One of Alishar's fists clench up.
Suzuran says: *whisper* ... wrong.
Eladria exclaims: I don't believe you, Alishar! You give up too easily! Now tell me where he is, and at least _I_ will manage to do what you cannot!
Alishar gives a small smile to Suzuran. "His heart has been blackened bythe shadow you see here." Alishar points at Parova. "He is gone... for now.He will return, one day."
... Parova suddenly moves, to pounce and surround Tylf, before passing around and through it -- that must look REALLY strange, as it obviously hurts the darkling to do so... and Tylf's odd, flickering figure might be fully defined within the darkling's shadow.
Tylf blinks.
Tylf perks around while inside the darkling, and it's ears droop slightlywhen it no longer sees the wing.
Eladria says: Now, Alishar. I am going to find Rathe. If you will not help me, then I swear to whatever you may hold dear. . .I will kill you. That simple. I. . .need to talk to Rathe now.
Eladria is eerily calm.
Alishar says: If you want his new form, Allow me.
Alishar exits stage right towards the alley.
Eladria follows Alishar, sword still drawn.
Parova shifts past... then rather abruptly stops, and falls over. It got as far as it can, because Tylf is still sitting on its wing.
Shiroi looks rather amused by the cute wolfies's play.
"Yo! Fury of the Higher Skies! Stop playing with yourself in the shadowsand come out already!"
Suzuran grimaces, sighing deeply. She takes a look at Tylf, but doesn't follow after Elad and Alishar. ... i mean, well, it'd be kind of -dumb-. :P
Iiiiin that alley, sitting against one of the shaded walls, there is indeed a figure. One leg in, one leg stretched out, with both his hands set on the outsretched leg... he doesn't look up at the call.
Eladria holds Lightcatcher, Cleaver of Shadows high, illuminating the alley in bright, holy light. "Rathe, I have in bright, holy light. "Rathe, I have returned."
Aestus says: ..."Okay. Enough gaming. Someone wants to see you."
Sparks of light fly upwards around Alishar, his hood being blown off his head from the wind following the sparks.
"Aestus says: ... that's great, can both of you please turn down the light show? I'm trying to concentrate.
Shiroi squats down, her arms laid out in front of herself, resting upon her folded knees. "Aaah... young love," she says, and sighs dreamily. "How very moronic and destructive."
Eladria sticks Lightcatcher into the ground of the alley. "Fortissime? Is that you?"
Aestus still hasn't looked up, apparently quite content to keep his concentration on those two hands mildly sitting on his leg.
In the meanwhile, Parova has taken to trying to chew on one of Tylf's wings, back at Evergreen Terrace.
Alishar extends his arms towards the alley, a pure white globe flowing fromhis hands, bobbing its way into the alley where Aestus is healing his leg."Remember the Temple in Dwargon?"Eladria walks up closer, and crouches down. "Rathe. . .it's me. I. . .remember now. . .Commander. . ."
Shiroi exclaims: Go, Tentacle rapist! Show that puppy how!
Shiroi goes: ..........
Aestus says: ... glad to know you finally remembered. And, by the way, Kaeon. Please, don't try to blast me, this time, I'd rather like to finish what I'm doing.
Shiroi exclaim: Go, clueless puppy! Stand up to that tentacle rapist!
Eladria removes his Gauntlets, and begins to call down healing light, to help Rathe's leg.
Shiroi goes: ..........
Tylf yelps at Parova, grring as loudly as it can, which isn't really loud at all. ... and well, it then tries to jump up and down -on- Parova's wing to shake him off.
That small ball of light energy shrinks and increases in speed, flying straight into Aestus' wounded leg, probably negating all effects Aestus had done to heal his leg.
Shiroi says: I don't know, I keep on wishing that I have a video camera handy. Maybe I'll take it up to Velias.
... no, it doesn't fly into Aes' leg. Neither does the light of Eladria's move; a well of 'shadow' -- more like, black and violet energy -- blossoms around Aestus' form. Otherwise, he doesn't move. "Please. Just let me concentrate."
Eladria sighs. "Rathe, I'm coming back for you. And I'm going to fix what I couldn't, before." Eladria grabs and sheaths Lightcatcher, and strides out, past Shiroi, whom he STILL doesn't understand. Where he goes. . .no one knows. But he'll be loud and back later.
Aestus finally does pause, and move... sitting up somewhat from where he was leaning forward, looking up at Eladria leaving, then to Alishar. He picks his hands up, cracks his knuckles... but, sitting on his leg, what his hands had been covering, is that pretty shard of the black orb.
Alishar smirks a moment, dismissing Aestus. "Another time, Fury. My only purpose for bugging you was for the uber-ressurection dwarf."
Alishar heads back towards the center of the square where Suzuran and Shiroi are.
Aestus says: ... alright, badass. One more person on the list of people to thwart me. I've almost got as much a fan following as I did before, except this time they're all trying to stop me or save me, instead of listening to my every word like sheep."
He's not trying to thwart you. He won't harm you. The body you inhabit was his his ex-commander... /Parovaling/."
Aestus narrows his eyes a bit, gathers up as much dignity he can muster, before sticking his tongue out at Alishar's back as he walks out. Then, quite promptl Then, quite promptly, he sets his hands back down on the shard, on his leg, and closes his eyes again... dismissing Alishar's would-be insult.
Shiroi yawns.
... again, in the meanwhile, now Parova is chewing on Tylf's face. All in all, it doesn't seem like he's really hurting the little blue-flame-wolf-draconic-thing.
Suzuran asks: .. how's he doing?
Alishar turns his head back a moment, his metallic blue hair following him. However, a note is seen in the metallic blueness. Thin streaks of silver seem to be in it. It doesn't appear to be from old age though. Strange. "Better be ready for me when I come to deal with you shadow." Alishar tilts his head back and finishes walking to the center of thesquare.
Aestus says: ... not gonna catch me by surprise again, Kaeon.
Tylf blinks a few times, a question mark would pop over its head. It whimpers quietly, then tries to walk a straight path out of Parova's shadows...
Alishar simply grins to himself, not saying a word, when he finally reaches the group.
"So Miss Tsuha, going to call your pet back to your katana or have it continue to play with Parova?" Alishar smiles at her.The darkling draws back, letting out its own... not very threatening... growl out at Tylf's whimper. It doesn't try to stop the blue-flame from walking away... and really, doesn't particularly seem like it wants to try to touch it again.
Suzuran asks: ... how's he doing, Alishar?
Alishar says: Still healing Clyde's wound. Same shadow arm. Soon the shadows will cover his entire body. They're what he uses to fix his wounds.
Tylf shakes itself out of whatever-.. although, really nothing that it thinks is on and about it as it walks out. Peering up at Parova, it's wings flap once, and it leaps up, hovering upwards slowly until its at eye level with the other. Tilting it's head to one side... then the other... Tylf licks Parova on its nose, before hovering back to Suz.
Alishar puts his right hand on Suzuran's shoulder. "Keep your love for Rathe and he will return to you eventually... kitto."
Shiroi can't help but chuckle a little at that.
... the darkling's eyes dim, at being licked.
Suzuran glances over toward the Alleyway, then closes her eyes, nodding once. She takes out that thin silver flute from her cloak and just starts to play a certain melody-- though, still not the anti-shard tune-- into the air. Tylf's ears poke up, and it quickly dashes into the air faster, retreating almost instantly back to the katana blade... well, not before making a ^_^ face as soon as the first note is blown.
Suzuran . o O ( ... you liked this song too... didn't you...? ).
Shiroi says: Awww... no more cute puppies...
Shiroi sniffles.
The Trickster lowers its head, eyes brightening slightly. "I'm not cute?"
Shiroi says: Tentacle rapists are not 'cute'.
Alishar digs into his cloak, pulling out a pewter statue of the Tricksters true form and tosses it over to it.
Shiroi says: And if I don't get going, Mr. President will do despicably painful things to my person for leaving a certain helpless elfling named Razz along for too long.
Shiroi bows elaborately, again. "So long, Ms. Tsuha, Alishar, and other assorted beings, a pleasure meeting you all."
"I'll lick you later... little would-be-rapee." The darkling gurgles, then giggles.
Shiroi strolls off, humming once more, still flouncing her fluffy black skirt in accordance to the rhythm.
Alishar says: Shiroi. You can tell Kesnick that his chessboard has startedto crack.
Alishar simply half-bows as Shiroi turns and walks away.
Alishar turns his gaze to Parova. "So going to sit here all day?"
"Probably," is the darkling's clipped response.
Alishar snaps his fingers and the pewter statue by Parova flickers amoment. Then its two eyes open. In the left 0 and in the right 6. "Six...Heheheh... You have till 6 tonight Parova."
"... actually, I think I shall wander off to Lefein and see what their council is up to..." Trickster purrs, again, though it is intently watching Alishar.
"If I stay around here, I'll get a high off that shard, and I'm high enough all the time already." ... but, it does tilt its head somewhat, ruffling, eyes brightening. "Until?"
Alishar's frostsilver-magicide clasp shimmers with a dim light which soon covers Alishar. The light soon turns into a pure white barricade and explodes into shards of fallen light. Alishar is nowhere to seen. Eep. "You'll see."
"I hate Light Warriors. Always fucking things up for me." The darkling lets out a low 'pff' and stands, fluidly slipping toward the nearest natural shadows. The statue fades along with Parova, seeming to follow it into the shadows. Creepy.
Suzuran glances over her shoulder again, sighing. Well, knowing that Parova's busy... and Rathe's still rather tied up with his wounds... then, ... maybe for once, she can get a good night's sleep without worrying...
Suzuran pulls the hood of her cloak over herself, then starts off back to Narshe.
