The Conerian Clinic

The clinic seems to be much more of a temple than a true clinic with the exception of the poster on the right wall. Straight in the center of the clinic is a blue carpet edged with small golden pieces of thread. On either side of the carpet are numerous standing candelabras, each holding three lit candles. On the walls of the clinic are many large tapestries, the red one being the largest. The whole atmosphere of the clinic brings in a sense of peace and comfort.

Exits: south

Justin paces the front hall of the clinic slowly, endlessly. The medics and clerics afford him a relatively clear path, rather than get trod upon (again). There's been no change in Razz's condition. None that they've seen fit to inform him of, at any rate. He begins to worry.

A steady click of metal on stone can be heard echoing through the air, a few whispered conversations can be seen between the clerics as they gather up a few papers and shuffle them together.

Razz never moved since they left the inn. Never opened her eyes, never moved her fingers, the only movement that may be detected is her shallow breathing. The elfing has sunken to the depth of her subconsciousness, or so it seems.

A single cleric gathers together the various reports and stands idly near the entrance as the steady click of metal on stone grows louder with each passing second. A figure appears in the entranceway, flanked by two other much taller figures. With a wave of his left hand the smaller figure bids his two larger companions to leaves, which with a salute, they do. The single cleric rushes forward and bows deeply to the man, handing him the papers, "Your Majesty... tis a pleasure... to see you."

Justin looks up, as he paces, and across, and frowns slightly. But, actually, wait... he trails to a halt near the corner, and considers the matter. No, actually, it's pretty heartening that His Lordship is already taking personal interest in the happenings of his kingdom.

Kaze shoves the papers in a side pouch, then takes them out one by one and reads through them, nodding absently as he scans down the lines, "Drunks... ...A stab wound in a barfight... feh... Hmm... chickenpox... and..." With that, Kaze looks up in the general direction of where Razz is then back down at the Cleric, whom nods, "Well... I see you've been keeping well enough track of the peoples welfare, I'll see that you get what supplies you've asked for.. though, I must ask... how is the Elven woman on the last page of the report faring?"

Justin folds his arms and leans back into the corner to listen attentively. How /is/ Razz faring? She's still alive, sure, but he hasn't even heard if she's awake yet. Maddening. Speaking of him, that says a lot.

A tall figure with ice blue eyes steps into the clinic, scanning over the occupants momentarily before smirking just slightly and stepping over to Kaze, "So your Majesty, you seem to have taken special interest in the clinic as of late."

The cleric looks thoughtful as he answered. "The elven girl, yes. She was brought in by that man over there," he waved a hand in Justin's general direction. "Into the temple, actually, where after they have stablized her condition, transferred her here. She had miscarried a child, but it was of magical doing. We might be able to examine the cause better once the patient wakes, but as of now - she hasn't shown any signs of coming around yet. But her condition is stablizing, indeed."

Kaze turns slightly, glancing over his shoulder at the newcomer, his ear still turned to the Cleric for his reply, "I have my reasons, A kingdom is nothing without it's people, and this place keeps people alive. I must admit, seeing you here is akin to seeing the grim reaper at a circus..."

Laitarne says: Come now... this place is just as important to myself as it is to you.

Laitarne grins, glancing around at the occupants.

Reize is starting to make his way in entering the clinic. He doesn't seem to be paying attention around him. However, he is carrying someone over his shoulders. The person over his shoulders is bearing the light violet hair, that stretches down her back. The woman seems to be unconscious. Perhaps she is a civilian? Anyhow, the boy is muttering under his breath on how hard it is to carry someone this tall. He waves a right hand over towards the clinic, "Umm, I have a patient for you. She was knocked unconscious from an attack by a band of grey imps and wolves."

Kaze turns his attention away from Laitarne and nods his head at the cleric before turning towards Justin and walking up to him, "So... You brought this girl in, correct? It must have been quite a horrible experience... tell me, what is your relation to this... elfling?"

Laitarne runs his finger along the edge of the shard of glass in his brooch absentmindedly.

Justin mutters, darkly, to himself. That tells him absolutely nothing. He puts himself to silence, as Kaze, approaches, and nods, and salutes. "She is, ahh, a student with the Blades. We fled the tower when the Shrike brought it down, and we've been traveling together since."

Razz is enveloped in a thick, obscuring mist. Her being suspended in the dark recess of her mind, hearing faint, distant conversations, and seeing vague, muffled images... from her past, no doubt. Her home... her first home, where she grew up... She can almost remember a fight... Being bound, being confined... Being confused, and hurt, and scared, and angry... Being civilized, and educated... Being in power... Being torn... then feared... then banished... Aaah... She had a friend... but she left her... yes. She was alone when she was aware... alone when she was banished... alone. She never used to worry over it... but things have changed, haven't they?

Kaze scratches his chin absently, "Blades eh? Hmmm.... Oh yes... The Red Hearts... Yes... yes I've heard of them... I guess that'd make you her guardian, at least til she's awake..." Kaze turns slightly and looks up at the roof, then turns back to Justin, "Though, I know what Kingdom she resides in has no way to affect her, and it was but chance that she lost her child here, I still feel I must at least attempt to make some small amends, to help ease her through these troubled times she finds herself in..." Kaze pulls one of the pages from his pouch and reads it over, "I wish to offer her a room in the palace and the care of the palaces healers. Though this temple is well equipped, I feel it would be better for a case such as hers to get only the best of attention." Kaze then frowns slightly as he puts the report back in his pouch, "I'd sleep much better at night knowing she is getting the best of care, losing a child is such a difficult thing."

Laitarne smirks darkly, stifling a laugh.

Reize idly shrugs, then he starts to drag the woman over to the medical bed nearby. Ah, good, an emtpy one. While placing the woman towards the bed, he can't help but overheard the word regarding of the 'Blades' and 'The Red Hearts'. Of course, he idly ignores it for now. After placing the woman on the bed, he glances towards the two people talking. One of the people his focus lies is on Kaze. The child bites his lower lip, but he glances towards Justin to get Kaze out of his mind. Seeing what is going on, he figures it is best not to talk to him. He idly begins to lean near the woman's bed, wiping the sweat off of him. It was tough carrying her after all. He finally leans forward, standing back in place. The hazel eyes gleam around, noticing alot of people in the clinic. . o O ( Errhgnn... Doesn't feel right. )

Reize looks at Laitarne.

Laitarne says: It's not polite to stare, boy.

Kaze snickers quietly, his left hand idly tying a small string into knots.

Justin mulls this over. /Sounds/ convincing enough, sure, but Kings are known for sounding convincing. Although, there's not much that could happen to her there... if he's along, at least. "Well. So long as she's stable enough to be moved... although, would I be able to stay with her? I should worry, otherwise, and I fear she might as well."

Reize urks for a moment, before placing his right hand behind the back of his neck. "Sorry.." He draws his attention away from Laitarne.

Kaze blinks, "Well, of course you can stay with her... I'd have it no other way, I wouldn't want her to panic if she woke up surrounded by people she doesn't know, she doesn't need that right now."

Kaze summons the Cleric over with a motion of his hand, "Is she stable enough to be moved? I'm sure my escort could easily pick up the entire bed if needs be."

Laitarne's eyebrow twitches slightly upon hearing that.

The Cleric spends a moment pondering before replying. "I believe she is. Indeed, she's rather weak, and has not awaken yet, but otherwise there's nothing to worry about." He nods. "Yes, it should be safe enough."

Kaze brings his hand up, pushing his hair slightly out of the way and covering the rather mischevous grin which has formed on his face.

Kaze says: Oh.. good, good.

Kaze ponders, rubbing his chin slightly, "Now, to just move her in a sling of some sort, or move the entire bed... What say you, Laitarne?"

Laitarne says: Hmph, I don't suppose she's stable enough to throw over your shoulder.

Kaze grins a little, "correction, your shoulder."

Kaze whistles innocently.

Laitarne says: Yes, of course.

Justin mutters darkly. '...vith'ir...' is all that can be made out, somewhere in the middle. "/My/ shoulder if anyone's, thank you kindly, sirs. Although a pallet or stretcher of some sort would be infinitely preferrable."

Kaze turns to Justin, "Well, would you like to assist Laitarne in moving the bed, or would you rather I just asked someone else to help. I'm sure it doesn't weight that much... ...We can just make sure Laitarne gets the foot of the bed, as to not scare her senseless if she wakes..

Reize glances back towards Laitarne, then he starts to back away from him as well. Yeah, this is getting a bit interesting. Though, the boy is starting to approach him, since he's rather the most familiar form. Though, the same can't be said about Justin recognizing the boy unless the scar is a giveaway.

Kaze snaps his fingers and the two figures from earlier enter carrying a large pallet with four handles on each corner, they place it on the ground next to Razz' bed and step back a ways, "Well, I think for the sake of being humble, I'll have to assist with the carrying myself, those two can get the bottom, You and I can take the two top, seem fair... Well... Don't I feel the fool, I haven't even asked your name yet..."

Laitarne says: And you were going to have us carry the entire bed...

Justin blinks. "Ah, Justin, milord. Head of the Blades of the Red Heart. Yes, that seems alright." Carefully, but without seeking permission from the attending medics, he moves to Razz's bedside, and lifts her down onto the pallet.

Kaze laughs softly, "Of course not, Laitarne. I was just going to have you move the entire bed. But I had a better idea. Not to say I don't trust you, but I've seen you fight, I'm not sure how much I trust you to carry a bed without dropping it."

Razz's head rolled limply to the side as her form was lifted, but otherwise she made no movement, nor responded in any way.

Kaze kneels down next to the left side of the pallet, near Razz' head, he then looks up at the two people whom had brought in the pallet, "You two can get the bottom I assume? Unless of course Laitarne wants to be a gentleman and grab a side."

Laitarne steps over to the pallet, and nods slightly, "I suppose I might as well lend a hand."

Justin assumes his position beside Kaze, and waves an arm at the catboy. "You there... Reize. Give us a hand, would you?"

Reize eehs at the busy pair. He starts to take a step away. He did his part bringing the civilian in from the Imp attack. He figures that they got things under control. He begins to move away from the King, Justin, and Kaze. He is almost heading to the exit, then he stops briefly. The tail curls up softly, then he glances back towards Justin, "...I'm surprised you recognize me...But yeah, I'll help.." Oddly, Justin isn't impaling him with a dagger or something. Oh well.
