Shiroi is, as she often is, strolling around without any particular destination in mind. Not like it's anything new, she's never had much goals in life. "-as they ask her to focus on SAILORS fighting in the dancehall! Ooh man! Look at those cavemen go! It's the freakiest shooooow~!" She sings rather well, at that.

Kira on the other hand, is still upset about Matthew and this 'Champion' that doom her world. She's almost in tears, running out of the hall.

Shiroi continued with her song, though her eyes are attracted to the running, tearing girl running out of the gate. "-take a look at the LAWMAN beating up the wrong guy! Oh man! Wonder if he'll ever know! He's in the best selling shoooow~!" The song's still going strong, and cheery as always.

Kira hears the song, and stops, and looks at Shiroi. "Why are you so happy?"

Shiroi came to a pause at that question. She looke thoughtful for a moment before replying. "Well, for that matter, whatever made you think I was happy?" She asked with a grin.

Kira narrows her eyes. "There a reason you're dressed like a tavern dancer?

Shiroi looked down at her clothes. "A tavern dancer? Coolies. You mean to say they dress like this here?" She struted proudly for a second, looking quite skilled with that alluring walk, and ended it by turning with a twist of her hips, winking at Kira. "I was clubbing when I went out of my world and crashed into this one."

Kira raises an eyebrow. "That's what they call it on your world? 'Clubbing'?"

Shiroi nodded solemnly. "That's right, kid, they call it clubbing." She then leered at Kira. "Do you know that 'it' is?"

Kira rolls her eyes. "I'm waiting for someon worth the while. Not that it's any of your business, you little tramp."

Shiroi held her hands up to her collar bone, suddenly looking rather frail and hurt, with her biting down at her lip, and the big, shiny tears swimming in her eyes. "Oh, the cruel, harsh truth, why must you be so mean? Whatever wrong have I ever committed against you???? OH!" And she sobbed dramatically. "Why oh WHY does everybody hate me???"

Kira strides up to Shiroi and grabs at her neck. "Enough."

Shiroi caught Kira's wrist as quick as a flash, and flung it away from herself before the girl's fingers even touched her. Tsking, she turned and wagged a finger at the girl, looking quite mischievous. "Baaaad girl, down! No touching! I know it's hard but you must resist!"

Kira growls. "You seem to be a bit more clever than the average student around here. Why don't you get over yourself and be useful for a change?around here. Why don't you get over yourself and be useful for a change?"

Shiroi smiled alluringly. "Oh, but I am!" She then raised her arms over her head and lowered her hands behind her head, striking a seductive pose. "I'm making lots of people happy by just being here!" And she turned around, showing of her figure.

Kira says: Yeah, but I'm not one of them. I need information about Justin, damn you.

Shiroi tilted her head, her raven black hair trailing down one side of her neck. "Justin? Isn't he the founder of this clan? I heard he's in Coneria with his girlfriend. Seems that he'd got her pregnant and had to go away for a while, or something like that."

Kira . o O(Well, great. This world is half backwards. Uncle Matt, and now this Justin guy.)

Kira sighs. "Great. Just great. What do you know about the other people who've just got into the tower?" She hopes Shiroi is as in the know as she expects.

Shiroi tapped a finger up to her lips. "Though I /have/ heard other rumors saying that they left because an ancient named Crulath was after them, and that they were endangering the students by being here... Other people who've just got into the tower?" She smiled at Kira. "What, who exactly do you have in mind?"

Kira blanches. "C. . .cr. . .Crulath? What do you know about him?"

Shiroi shrugged. "He's an ancient, which means he's like, a god or something," and she made a gesture that hints at vomiting. "I'm so sick of those, you can't imagine. Anyways, I've heard that he's an Ancient, and some people call him the Lord of Pain, and he's psycho, or some'd said."

Kira nods. "Sounds about right. All right, you've been most helpful. Maybe I can buy you some dinner, or something? Talk more?"

Shiroi's dark eyes gleamed. "Dinner," she said, smiling the more all the while. "Would sound /most/ delightful, thank you. What place do you have in mind?"

Kira shrugs. "Tycoon's nearby, I'm sure there's some food to be found there."

Shiroi grinned, showing off her pearly white teeth. "Well, I'd say we'd better start, then!"

Kira nods. "After you?"

Shiroi shook her head. "Oh no, no. After you. I don't know my way around very well yet."

Kira shrugs, and heads out toward Tycoon.

(Later, in a resturant)

Shiroi, after ordering a two plates of fried fish and one roasted chicken, settled down to worship her digestive organs. "So, what's with this fascination with the psycho ancient about?"

Kira says: He's threatening my world, too. I need to know everything I can about him. Now, has the tower had a lot of new people come in lately?

Kira sips some coffee, but doesn't eat anything else.

Fish is very, very good. Fresh too. Yum. Heaven. Shiroi takes another bite out of it. "Mmhmm... OH yum... Yeah, new teachers, semi-new students, and such. Oh, this is good...."

As the two are sitting there conversing, there's a slight sound of music beginning to pour into the cafe, even through whatever noises are happening on the inside. Seems to be from a flute, of some sort... ...

Kira's ears perk up at the music. ". . .Mom?" She shakes her head, as if to clear it, and looks at Shiroi as she consumes more food than her Uncle Eladria. She didn't even think that was possible. "New teachers?"

Shiroi cleaned off one side of the fish, and flipped it over to work on the other side. Oooh, mustn't let the chicken go cold, off comes a drumstick! "New teachers. A fox lady, a dwarf guy, and an archmagus."

Kira scratches her head, and motions for the waiter to get another plate of food for Shiroi. "Well, let's start with the first. Fox Lady? A shapechanger?"

Shiroi finished off the fish, and started chewing on the fish bones, grinding them into smitheries before swallowing. Come to think of it, nothing was left of the drumstick she just ate either..."Shapechanger? No, just a fox lady."

Kira blinks. "Oh. . .kay. She got a name?"

"Lonneke," came as the chicken disappeared from the plate at a rapid rate.

Kira sighs, and again motions the waiter. "Okay. The dwarf?"

The waiter was a bit startled at the... amazingly clean and empty plates. Shiroi grinned and took another plate of fish off of his hands. "Eladra or Eladria or something like that."

Kira starts. "Eladria?? Eladria Kiran??? He's here?"

Shiroi nodded, still packing away at the food, with no sign of slowing. "Yep. Eladria Kiran."

Kira grabs a drumstick from Shiroi. "Tell me everything you know about him. NOW."

Shiroi almost started a savage snarl, but it disappeared as quickly as it'd came, and she turned her full attention to the rest of the fish. "Seems as if there's two of them, or someone'd hit him over the head with a shovel."

Kira stares. "What do you mean?"

The fish is all gone, now. Neither bone or head or tail is left of it. "People kept on saying that they recognize him from somewhere, but Eladria doesn't remember any of it. So they're either mistaken or he's got anmesia. Logic."

Kira nods. "Anything else?"

The chicken is going rapidly now. "What else? He's a sword master, not too bright, knocked himself all bloody over something he thought someone'd said last night. I won 50 gils over it though, and Mei now has to carry my dishs!"

KIra growls. "He's smart when it counts. There's nothing else you're leaving out?

Shiroi reached over and snatched the drumstick out of Kira's fist and started gnawing on that. "Oh, right, he shacked up with the fox lady and they're getting married."

Kira's jaw drops. "He's WHAT??"

Shiroi packed away the drumstick, and burped discreetly. "Excuseme. Married. He's getting married."

"Unless you mean getting shacked up before marriage. He did that too. Or so the rumors say."

Kira sighs. "When?"

Shiroi raised her hand in the air and snapped her fingers to get the waiter's attention. "Lobster sounds right about now." Then she turned her eyes back on Kira. "In a couple days, I've heard. Justin might come back then."

Kira nods. "Okay. Third teacher, let me guess. Matthew?"

Service is fast. A giant red lobster came in a few moments. "Yep, Matthew, suppose to be some incredibly power mage. I wouldn't know. But the fire trick he conjured up the other day was rather impressive."

Kira discreetly feeds the waiter more money. "He is. I should know, it's how I got here."

Kira ponders.

Munch munch, goes Shiroi on the lobster. "Where'd you come from?"

Kira puts her elbows on the table. "A place a lot like this, but in the future, with a different past."

No more lobster, Shiroi look a bit mournfull before she called for another one. "Hmm, like an alternate universe in the future? Cool. What made you come here?"

Kira looks at Shiroi. "I needed a Water Orb. But the Champion mocked me, and refused, so I've got to take it by force."

Shiroi shrugged. "Well, I have to say, you were rather easy to refuse, then. It didn't have anything to do with Mirai's girlfriend, what made you think she'd go out of her way to risk something of hers for you?" Ooo, lobster's here.

Kira shrugs. "If Uncle Ela is here, maybe he can help me. . .Where could I find Eladria Kiran?"

"And be realistic, what makes you think you can force someone obvious so much more powerful than you to do something they don't want?" Shiroi muttered admist the munching. "Eladria is your uncle, huh? Well, let's hope he remembers."

Kira chuckles. "I got the other three, all ready." She clinks the Three Orbs from her world onto the table. Air, a clear orb, Earth, a brown orb, and fire, a red orb.

"He should still be hanging around the tower... Ought to be easy to find. I feel like some steak." Snap snap. "Steak please."

Shiroi then took a glance at the orbs. "So, how'd you get those?"

Kira holds up Air. "On Loan from the Sky Warriors." She holds up Fire. "Taken from the Volcano, from a NASTY monster." She holds up Earth. "Discovered beyond a maze of deadly traps and pitfalls."

Shiroi kicked back on her chair, working a piece of meat stuck between her teeth with her tongue. "I thought they all had a Champion to guard them?"

Kira shakes her head. "Not where I come from. At least, not a PERSON Champion."

Shiroi nodded, and sat back up again as her steak arrived. She dug in with gusto. "So why couldn't you get the water orb there?"

Kira sighs. "It was destroyed on my world."

Shiroi managed a wince. "Ouch. Destroyed. How's your world faring without the Water Orb?"

"If I don't find one, and get back soon, it will be destroyed as a sacrifice to save Crulath's world.

"What's up with this Crulath? Oh, yum........ Water, please!"

Kira motions for the check. "His world's in danger, so he's gonna destroy mine to save it. Supposed to alert the gods or some such nonsense.

"W00, what logic. Still, how did the fate of your world come to rest on your shoulders?"

"My dad got old. So did Uncle Ela. All of the old heroes couldn't deal. So they trusted me. And a lousy mess I've made of it."

Shiroi winced at that. "Eek. Your world's in trouble. You're the best they could send? Good god."

Kira pays the check, in cash, and nods at Shiroi. "You've been a good help. Thank you."

Shiroi cleans off the steak and nodded. "Nice eating dinner off of your pocket," she said with a smile.

Kira heads back toward the tower, hoping to meet up with her Uncle. . .or at least, his counterpart.

Shiroi burped satisfyingly, and glanced out the window. "You've got some people following you, little girl.... Mom, huh? .... heh."
