Lexi's Balcony

As you step out onto the balcony, you notice the view. How peaceful and serene the world seems from here. The delightful, faint chirping from birds in the lush, green trees below; the soft blue of the vast, majestic sky hovering above and around everthing; and the feel of the cool breeze gently dancing through your hair, reminds you of how simple yet magnificent nature truly is.

Makoto stops for a brief second trying to catch his breath from the running in his platemail. Standing upright, pushing a branch out of his face to get the view of the tower. 'Who is that.. way up there..' he whispers to himself before walking foreward trying to get inside the tower.

Razz is moping away on her balcony, once more. Well, perhaps moping isn't the most accurate word for it, but it's close enough. She's sitting on the platform of her balcony, her hand circled under her knees, hugging her thighs losely. She leans against the railings that surrounds the platform, her eyes closed as she lost herself in the environment just outside of her room... And yet, someone's coming, and someone saw her. Who could it be? ... Feels familiar. Makoto, she thinks. Pulling herself up by the railings, she called down to the forest, her voice a bit weak at the first try. "Ma- ahem. Makoto?" She called.

Makoto stops once more, trying to get a better look at the person who just called his name. "Who wants to know?" hollering back in confusion ...hell im suprised someone was here...

Razz's exceptional hearing (developed since she lost her eye sight) caught the faint reply from seven floors up, and she waves at Makoto. "I'm Razz!" She called back down.

Makoto pauses for a brief moment, "Now... why are you that far up?" peering quizically. "Er.. nevermind that, Mind.. if I er come upstairs?" ...i really wish my arm would stop hurting...

Razz hesitated for a moment, wondering what she should say next. "Uhm... Come on up!" She called out, and ducked into her room.

Makoto enters the towers mainhall then reachs the stairway wishing he wasnt in platemail. 'Its going to be one of these days' he mutters loudly. He begins marching up the stairs trying to keep the noise to a minimal but obviously failing.

Razz locked the doors to her balcony and went to her door, unlocking and opening it. She stepped outside of her room, and wondered if she should stay or go and look for Makoto. Staying seems to be the more sensible of the two choices, for some reason, and so she did. The clacking of the platemail started out faint, and then louder.

Makoto begins to huff and puff. 'This is too much.' he complains as he goes up past the fifth floor. 'I do hope Im getting close'

Makoto says OOC: take that for small.

Razz says OOC: is that a challenge? =P.

Razz waits.

Razz says OOC: HA! take /that/ for small!

Makoto clambers off the last step, noticing you waiting for him. "Er... that was a long trudge..." having a slight difficulty saying it due to the lack of oxygen.

Razz walked up to Makoto, and tried to think of things to say. "Uhm... What are you doing here? Last time I saw you was in Coneria..."

Makoto scratchs the back of his head rather edgy about the topic. "I.. er.. they want me arrested in Coneria" blurting out without a problem ...now I really wish I didnt say that... "This is the only place I can think of that is a safe-haven."

Razz tilted her head in confusion. "Why? What happened?"

Makoto snickering softly, with a balled fist. "Alishar was under attack and called upon the other Light Warriors to his aide. I of course was one that was there in an instant" Lowering his head slightly, "Jinrokku and I got into a fight... he killed Kyori in the process..." letting a deep shy escape his body resisting the waterworks.

Razz was caught in an awkward spot. First of all, she didn't even know that Makoto was a light warrior. Second, she's never heard of - what - nobody that Makoto had just mentioned? But still... Kyori must've been someone close to him, and she lowered her head. "Aah- I'm sorry," she murmured.

Makoto peers around the area, "Hey... is there an area where I can get this metal off my back?" he asks with a slight nudge. "Kinda gets heavy after a while, you know?"

Razz raised a hand and rubbed at her neck with it. "Uhmm... I think you can get a room... downstairs at the headquarters..." her voice trailed rather low at the end of that sentence.

Makoto hmms softly to himself. "Would you mind.. if I went and got rid of this armor then? I have an open wound I need to clean up too" noting for a second. 'Now if only I could cure myself using the light' he whispers to himself.

Razz seems to look up, suddenly, at the mention of a wound. "You're hurt?" She asked, concerned. "Where? I think I can help..."

Makoto takes a step back, 'help..er..uh' thinking aloud. "Sorry about that.. my right arm near my shoulder, is a sword slash wound" he mutters softly still in some pain from it. "My mistake wound."

Razz reached out with one hand, and touched the surface of Makoto's armors. Chewing on her lip, she eventually came to the decision that perhaps it'd be better if she'd just... let Makoto come into her room... yeah. Shouldn't be a problem... she's pretty sure... "Aah..." she gestured toward her room, its door left slightly ajar. "Come in? You can take off your armor in there for a while... so you wouldn't have to walk all the way downstairs again..."

Makoto nods his head twice but forgets on accident. "Thank... you" trying to slip past the door without hitting anything. Walking over to a empty corner, 'ah yes.. here seems to be a good place to drop this hunk of tin' Hitting a small button on his left shoulder the platemail comes a part or atleast the upper portion. Placing that down without the expected thud. Now squeezing out of the leg portions.

Razz walked over and waited for Makoto to finish setting his armor down. Closing her eyes, she started chanting in a low tone of voice, and her hands glowed a bright light. "Aah... are you ready?" She asked.

Makoto grimaces at the bright light. "I.. souppose" ...hope this doesnt hurt... "Glad, I know some people with magic" he mocks slightly.

Razz said nothing as she placed her hands over Makoto's arm, frowning slightly in concentration. The light shimmered around Makoto's wound, and the long bloody gash closed up without any problems. The entire process took only lasted for about 5 seconds, and when the light faded, there was no sign of the wound left on Makoto's arm, not even a scar.

Razz asks: Is that alright?

Makoto giggles slightly, quickly clearing his throat playing it off. "Thats much better... but that tickled" he adds with a slight grin. "Ill.. have to get you to teach me that some day."

Makoto chuckles quietly, "Well... I've never done a deal of magic either" adding with a slight taunt. "I thank you for the ending of that pain." Stretching largely sending a small crick and crack emitting from his back. "Much better!!!"

Razz smiled again, glad that she'd done some good for once. "Aah... how long are you going to be staying here at the tower?"

Makoto hmms once more. "that depends on my welcome." scratching his head once more. "I honestly dont wish to burden the tower so Ill try to make it as short as I can..." glancing about the room slightly ...eh, ive seen this somewhere, but where...

Razz ponders that. "They wouldn't come after you now that you've left Coneria, would they?"

Makoto makes a brief pausing gesture, "They didnt even see where I ran to or in the direction I left in." Poking his arm slightly where the wound was ...amazing... "I dont think so."

Razz notes Makoto's attention to his arm, and wonders. "Is something wrong?" She asked.

Makoto snickers softly. "No.. its just amazing how you did that.. or atleast I think so"

Razz blushed slightly at Makoto's compliment. "Aah, thank you... but any mage can do that."

Makoto snickers softly, "Sooorrreeeeiii for being a fighter" mocking slightly, "but thank you for being a mage!" ...im such a fool... peering around the room again ...really familar...

Razz notes Makoto's attention to her room, and wonders again. "Something the matter?" She asked.

Makoto coughs slightly, "I still dunno... something is familar about this place.. im just trying to pin point what. Sorry if im being.. er.. odd?" He places his hands together and fiddles with the thumbs to try to change topics.

Razz turned around, though there's really no point in the action. "Aah... you've been here before?" That's right, Justin trained Makoto once.

Makoto snickers softly, "That one crazy guy... yeah" adding with an anger tone. "I meant.. yes but only for the view" pointing at the balcony ...ack I have to stop making gestures...

Razz blinks. "Who?" She asked, a bit thrown off track.

Makoto snickers softly, "Justin..."

Razz asks: How is Justin crazy?

Makoto asks: Uh.. he is there just no one is home upstairs, you know?

Razz looks... very confused. "What?" She asked again.

Makoto chuckles slightly, "Sorry.. one shouldnt talk of a previous teacher like that. Forget I said that."

Razz still looks quite confused, but nodded, slowly. "Okay..."

Razz asks: So, you've been in this room before?

Makoto glances once more. "I... /believe/ so..."

Razz pondered for more things to say. "Uhm... well. It would be before I moved in, I guess."

Makoto grins evilly. "Uh.. yes.. it was years ago.. before I met you." Pinching at his arm this time. "er.. no offense intended.."

Razz shakes her head. "I'm not offended...." Not even sure why she should be, anyways.

Makoto it seems to finally click, lighting up his face but then lowering his head softly. "I know.. now.."

Razz paused at Makoto's sudden drop in spirit, and tried to chose her words carefully. "Uhmm... what is it?"

Makoto bites on his bottom lip. "This was.. Lex's room..."

Razz's face turns blank. Like, lightning struck over the head ears ringing blank. "Lexi?" She asked again, her tone incredulous.

Makoto stares blankly but shakes his head getting his own attention once more. "er... yes.. sorry didnt mean to ..."

Razz looks rather dazed, really. This was Lexi's room? .... she doesn't know quite what to think. She doesn't really /want/ to think. There's probably nothing to think about, anyway. Still, her unseeing eyes are wide open, and her lips are slightly parted in shock. "No... I mean... nothing to be sorry for...." she suddenly feels the room spining, almost. She wants to get out. "Aah... I think I'll go now... do you need any help getting down stairs?"

Makoto glances at Razz's movements. "Better yet, Do you need help where your going?"

Razz directs the blank expression towards Makoto. "No. I'm fine, why shouldn't I be?" She murmured, and walked - in a very loose sense of the word - to the door, left half open from before, and vanished out the door.
