(In)Frequently Asked Questions

What on Earth is 'KHYML'?

'KHYML' stands for 'Kingdom Hearts Yaoi Mailing List'. It's a large, occasionally active group. Many fic/lets have come from challenges posted to it.

What is 'DM'/'DM:A'?

Those initials are used to refer to anything relating to an original novel Kalloway is slowly working on and was once called 'Dark Magick'. The latest incarnation is referred to as 'Dark Magick : Alternate'.

Who are all the people mentioned in fic notes or on the main page?

Many of them are linked to in the Links section. Some of them are meant to be cryptic. And some are friends come and gone with the passings of time. If you'd like more information about the Cafe staff, check out the bio page.

What is with the theme? And what's with the horrid layout?

This site was started as a class project and then became home to Kalloway's fiction. At the time she had about five stories written, so it really didn't matter that the layout was hellish. Unfortunitely a year and a half later, we're still struggling to find something that works for everyone.

We? But I thought Raz was...

We have quite the sense of whimsy. This place was started as a bit of a joke, so it's a little late to stop with the running gags!

Will you link my site?/Can I link here?

Will you link mine? I'd just like a fair trade. And you can link to me if you'd like. I read my site statistics, so I know when you've namedropped.

Will you post my fanfic/fanart/whatnot?

Fanfiction submission guidelines are on the GuestWorks page. Fanart is less strict - just e-mail it to me and there's a good chance I'll post it. Be sure to include any contact information you want posted with it.

As far as other miscellania goes, I'll probably accept it. Hit banners are graciously appreciated, as are other web goodies.

You're writing me a fic - when will it be done?

I'm not writing you a fic, Kalloway is. But... I can answer this one! Your best bet is to e-mail her, mentioning what she's writing (details, not just 'I posted a challenge to a ML and you said...') and flat out asking when it'll be done. She gets distracted easily and does have a life of her own, so sometimes things slip her mind.

What's up with the print book(s) I've heard about?

Kalloway has plans to self-publish a short collection of her original stories, as well as self-publish 'The Best Moves'. When they have been printed, I'll post ordering information.
