Alright boys, I thought I would give this a shot while I had some time to kill.  After taking a closer look at all the teams here, I really don’t think it is as even as many of us first thought.  I really see it as a two team battle for the top spot between Vancouver V-backs and Outkast.  These two teams are just sick!!!  Then there is another teir of owners with Kamakawiwo’ole, dumb rookies and howling mads.  After that I really don’t see the other teams being there and competing on a weekly basis.  Fantasy football is won and lost on depth.  Let me be more clear and say quality depth.  Injuries are going to happen (only 6 RB played all 16 games last year)  I mean hell we have one owner with 3 TEs on his roster, one of them announced his fucking retirement three weeks ago!!!!

In the end, here are the teams in order followed by their grades and thoughts.

1. Outkast

2. Vancouver

3. Kamakawiwo’ole

4. Howling mads

5. Dumb rookies

6. Shelton Seals

7. Endurance

8. Spyders

9. Western Ballas

10. My daughter makaila picking up waiver wire players

11. Some retarded kid riding the short bus to school

12.  Some Canadian drafting Austrailian rules football players

13.  Precision Ballas.

Vancouver V-backs  - (A-) – This could be the team to beat this year.  The only issue that I can see is lack a depth at runningback. But even that is a stretch to find something wrong.  Andre/Horn/Clayton are solid receiving choir.  This is a strong team all around, and finally rob found some quality at defense as well.

Endurance – (C) – This is a decent team with no upside and a great deal of downside.  Taking fliers on Holmes, Green and Taylor to stay healthy in his backfield just doesn’t seem reliable enough to compete every week.  Don’t get me wrong this team is capable of throwing up a couple huge weeks, but the week in week out consistency needed to win just isn’t there.  More questions at QB, Collins has the weapons this year, but he is still Kerry Collins.  The one strength at this team is in the WR choir, but you can’t build a fantasy team with WR again they just aren’t there every week for you.

Western Ballas – (D) – This is probably the youngest team out there.  Boldin, McGahee, K. Jones, Houshmazedah, S. Jackson, Troy Williamson, most these guys should still be in college.  There are just too many weird things going on with this team right now.  I am not sure why you carry three TE, especially when on of them IS RETIRED!!!! Looks strong on Defense and has a great deal of potential.  But right now has Brees starting over Green?????  And is carrying 4 defenders, 2 kickers and 2 ˝ tight ends.  Doesn’t make for a very deep team anywhere else.

Shelton Seals – (C) – Probably the stongest overall WR choir in the league but with this strength comes a great deal of weakness at RB.  Tiki Barber and Lamont Jordan are the only two RB on Seals roster with starting jobs week 1.  This could really kill them come injury or bye weeks.  I don’t see anyone competing in this league without every position filled and competitive.  And again we see some interesting use of the roster positions with a manager carrying 5 defensive players and a kicker in Nate Keading who may not have a job in a week.

Kamakawiwo’ole – (B-) – A very well rounded team, nothing really stands out and says this team is unstoppable at any position but then again nothing really stands out and says this team is going to go down.  (except for the idiot owner doesn’t have a kicker at this point).  One strength is the depth, huge depth and should have no probably competing every week no matter who has a bye or who is injured.  Probably has the strongest Defensive unit in the draft.

OutkastofAmerikka – (A) – This is the team to chase.  We are going to have a tough time competing with Shaun Alexander, Julius Jones and Deshaun Foster in the backfield.  Along with a solid WR choir or Chad Johnson, Roy Williams and Todd Heap.  That’s right this team is starting two TE and will not lose a step with either one.  Has the best kicker in the game and another year of strong defense.  I think it is safe to say this team will have the highest point total at the end of the year baring injury or any other freak incident.

Spy-ders (C) – Another strong team without much depth at RB, remember only 6 RB last year played all 16 games!!!!  You cannot compete week in and week out without atleast 3 solid RB.  And although he has portis, he is looking at part timer Dunn, and Ronnie Brown in Miami who has Ricky Williams coming up fast behind him ohh and after that he doesn’t have another RB on his roster!!!  WR depth is huge, but who cares you can still pick up quality WR on the wire, there is no need to carry 7 WR on your roster this isn’t going to help. Again 7 WR, 2 K, and 6 D just doesn’t seem like the way to load up your roster.  This team will run into trouble after a few weeks without a starting RB in bye weeks or in case of injury.

Precision Ballas – (D+) – This team just doesn’t get it.  Yeah you can argue that if the Colts go off, then he will put up strong numbers.  And yes Manning had 49 touchdowns last year.  But has still averaged 27 TD a year throughout his career.  And defenses have had a year to adjust to his passing scheme.  Do I think manning will be the number 1 fantasy QB this year?  YES.  Will he repeat anything close to what he did last year? NO.  This team has no runningbacks.  Right now he is starting Mike Alstott, the third person on the depth charts down in TB.  Defensive choices are non existent and won’t help his point total. Not to mention has already thrown away one week, come week 8 he can’t even come close to fielding a full lineup.  I will give 3:1 odds that this owner doesn’t tough his team after week 4.

Howling Mads – (B-) – Again a solid starting lineup, but gets real questionable when looking at the bench.  Dillon and Davis are a nice start, but chris brown is injury prone and has Henry at his heels, After brown is out of the picture Mads is going to have Marcell Shipp as their third RB.  That’s just sad.  WR looks competitive but nothing to write home about.  This team is just good enough to make a run at the playoffs and has the ability for a winning record, but I don’t feel they have the stuff to compete with the top owners in the league.

Dumb rookies – (B-) – Again I know for a fact this owner was not able to make it to the draft and that explains for some strange roster use.  6 D and 2 Kickers.  The fate of this team pretty much lands square on the shoulders of Tatem Bell, if he is the starter and stays healthy this team will be among the top.  WR our solid and RB, Bell, Westbrook and Edge are going to be huge in this league giving 1 pt to each reception.  Depth at RB is going to be tough.  But again has some usuable trade bait to get some help there.
