Responsible for collecting point data (power line poles and services) using

Trimble, as well as Sat Lock GPS units. Used Pathfinder software, as well

as some ArcView to clean up the data.

Geography

Projects:

Siting a new Crackerbarrel in Etowah County

· Team effort responsible to determine the best site to build a new Crackerbarrel

· We used ArcGIS 8.1 to help with the analyses.

Siting a new Sciences building on the campus of UNA

· Team effort that used heads-up digitizing to update the database for UNA

· We added roads, buildings, walkways, and fountains using ArcGis 8.1

Land Use/Land Cover Project for Remote Sensing Class:

· Team effort responsible for analyzing and comparing July 1988 and July 1993 Landsat TM images.

· Applied ERDAS Imaging Processing software to form our conclusions.

Map and Map Interpretation – Siting a Landfill

· Team effort responsible for determining if our site would be suitable for a landfill.

· Used ADEM and EPA Data as our guideline.
