FR MICHAEL'S LETTER
Dear Friends,
It was a wonderful Christmas. Our celebrations were occasions of great
joy. Once again the 5.30pm Children’s Mass was packed out! (but we
didn’t run out of Fr Christmases!) Mass at Midnight and on Christmas
Day were both considerably better attended than last year. Thanks to
all who helped in so many ways to make this a Christmas to remember.
Fr Peter and I wish to thank all of your for your cards and gifts, and
for the generous Christmas Collection.
May 2001 be a year of great blessing for you all.

NOTICES
New Year’s Masses
There will be a midnight mass for the new year this evening, and at
10am on New Year’s Day.
Jubilee Year Thanksgiving Mass at Victoria Hall on January 7th. Make
sure you have a ticket if you are coming along. (Servers and choir
don’t need one).
Rome and Assisi 2001 May 7th – 14th. If you want to go please fill in
the booking form and return it to Fr Michael with a cheque for £60
(Deposit, & £21.25 insurance asap.)
Covenant Envelopes 2001 can now be collected from the back of the
Church.
