Learners

This lesson is geared towards the seventh grade level in history.  This has a little of math when dealing with the industries.  Writing has big part in this lesson with the papers that are to be  done.  This can easily be moved to American history which is done in 8th grade.

The students will need to know the causes of the civil war and a good understanding of what the civil war was about.  They will also need to know the basis of doing research since they will be doing a lot of it in this lesson.
