Custom Volkswagen Redline 1969

The Custom Volkswagen is the first VW Bug ever produced by Hot Wheels. They came in many different colors and were made in Hong Kong and USA. The ones made in the US have a dashboard with small steering wheel and clear windows. The ones made in HK have no dash, a large black steering wheel, blue tinted windows, and may or may not have a sunroof.The non sunroof version is the most uncommon. Interior for the Custom VW could be light brown, dark brown, white, black or gray.
