WMVE-FM 90.1 History

Commonwealth Public Broadcasting, which owns the PBS and NPR affiliates in Richmond and Charlottesville received a construction permit in October of 2004 to build WMVE, for relaying Richmond, Virginia-based WCVE-FM 88.9 to Southside Virginia. The station signed on in October of 2007.
