Nemesis Droppings: |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Throughout the game, you will encounter Nemesis on several occassions; and most of the time, you have the option to "kill" him. (If you have the time, ammo, and patience.) Each time you "kill" Nemesis on Hard Mode, he will drop a little present for you when he hits the ground. If you feel like going for the gold, be sure to ask yourself first: "Is this bonus item really worth starting over from the save point if Nemesis nukes my sorry ass?" But it's up to you. |

The first 2 items you will get for wasting our bad-ass mutant freind are the Eagle Parts A & B. Combining these will give you the "STI Eagle 6.0" pistol, a speedy lil' handgun that's mighty handy for bloodthirsty zombie - huntin'. It fires the same ammo as your standard side-arm, so it's not very powerful, but the speed factor will cut down (or eliminate) the amount of bites you'll take when you're surrounded by ghouls. You're also more likely to decapitate zombies with this handgun. |

The third item you'll get from Nemmy is the First-Aid Box, which carries up to 3 first-aid sprays, and only takes up one slot in your inventory. (Which is nice if you carry every weapon you own; or compulsively pick up useless items, like blue herbs.) |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The fourth & fifth items you'll get by pick-pocketing Nemmy while he's unconscious are: the M37 parts A & B. Combining these will result in the creation of the "Western Custom M37" shotgun. Now, this gun may look pretty cool when you fire it, but seriously, it is'nt very usefull. Just like the Eagle, this gun fires regular ammo, with the advantage of a quicker reload time. But one round from your regular shotgun will usually suffice in killing, or momentarilly stopping any enemy you'd be using a shotgun on, anyways. |

The sixth item you'll get from wasting Nemmy is kind of a let-down. Nothing cool this time, just another First-Aid Box. Unless you're really looking forward to that final item you get from risking your life, I'd recommend just leaving that old sap alone & running away. |

Okay, hotshot, you made it this far, and your efforts will not go unrewarded. The seventh - and final - item you'll recieve will be one of two possible treasures. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
If you got this far by playing on a brand-new gamefile (sweet jesus, you've got talent!), then you'll recieve the "M4AI Assault Rifle". When you set this to "manual" mode, it'll fire in 3-shot pulses. (Which is nice when you're killing one individual creature.) When you set it to "Auto" mode, the A.R. will spit out those NATO rounds faster than you can count 'em. This gun is nice to carry around in the "Dead Factory", where you'll encounter alot of lightweight enemies. |

But if you got here by Restarting from a previously saved gamefile (a way more likely scenario), you'll recieve the "Infinite Bullets" kit. This can be combined with one of your weapons (yes, only one... choose wisely), to give it... umm... duh... INFINITE AMMO!!! I highly recommend using this on your Magnum, but if you picked up the "Mine Launcher" earlier, it does make one cool-ass weapon. Combining the "Infinite Bullets" kit with your Mine Launcher creates the "Enhanced Mine Launcher", with infinite, enhanced ammo. This new ammo will track down your prey, whizzing around corners & other objects to find them. And then they explode!!! (This looks really cool. You can even blow the arms & legs off zombies with it. And since it has more powerful, enhanced ammo, you can make a dog completely explode!!!) |

If you were actually able to waste Nemesis seven times in a row, you should have no trouble taking him on for the final showdown. But then again, if you've gotten this far, you were probably using the Inf. ammo Gattling Gun or Rocket Launcher won in the "Mercenaries" bonus game. |
